vincible mortal with an invincible Soul
that won't surrender,
how many times
have I taken
credit for Your Power
When I was in fact powerless
never say never
Only you Almighty
Know this
still my soul cries for You
Deep Awakenings free me
From mortality
Chains of bondage placed
There by an ego much
too naive and pompous...
i give this second to You

In total confusion,
On the verge of forfeiting,
Depending on self-persuasion,
That there's hope in succeeding,
Yet time has caught up with me,
I'm on my sixth piping-hot cup,
As I gurgle another sip of this blistering tea,
In hopes the scalding pain will keep me up,
I've forgotten how it feels to be free,
Almost soothing aroma of mint-jasmine spice,
Distracts me from focusing on the now stacked-up task,
Not having listened to the given advice,
Trapped in a cocoon-study-state with no-one to ask,
Refraining from closing m'eye-lids all night,
The morning alarm wakes me up in a fright,
With the tick of the clock dawning anxiety,
I clumsily stumble to my feet and face reality,
Trying to link, random-lingering-information,
with this dumb-found-zombie-like brain,
I dread the inevitable confrontation,
Oddly feeling comfort in the swaying of the train,
I gawk at the strangers hustling in, all prepared for the day ahead,
Becoming aware of my pungent morning breath, I wish I'd simply stayed in bed.

I am a widowed woman of significant age.
Not unable to keep house, cook or bathe a child,
no dancing for me those days seem over,
but, yet - I can paint a picture or go fishing,
with the best of them.
I am strong yet vincible, not young,
but abled.
I am a widowed woman of significant age.

Darting up and down, left and right
Over my little being
With fright you easily show your might
Have I ever sought your meaning?
Have you ever stopped and wondered?
Torrid pendulum striking, yet unheard,
Of what use is that behaviour?
Of losing your utmost valor!
Even if your shield is your armor
And your weapon lies in being an actor!
Vincible you are and easily exhausted,
A mere puppet, completely roasted
Though your darting intention may be to hurt or blemish
You forget, you form part of those whom my bliss did abolish!
