HAPPY V DAY BABE

Happy V Day

HAPPY ?? DAY

On this! The Lover's Day?
If I could have my selfish way?
I'd have you stay with me and play.
Cause Today? Like Everyday, I pray that God keeps you, and holds the Devil at Bay.
I promise you, I'll never betray, run away,
or allow anything to lead me astray,
From your Caring, Crazy, Funny, Loving,  & Thoughtful attributes to me you display.
Your smile I can see, whether you are or are NOT in front of me. And I must say to a degree?
It sets my mind free,
And causes me to be,
A better person times 3.
And your Kiss? When I reminisce?
With those soft lips? I truly Miss,
Cuz to me? Its PRICELESS!
B A B E.......
I've been Gaurded for so long,
Just trying to stay strong,
For me, Fam, my kids, staying away from anyone who
came along.
Until now? I was never willing to start, and open up my heart, for fear of it being blown apart.
But with you? I am really enjoying the way this relationship is growing.
Please understand that this dating stuff? Is new to me, so I may need some guidance to finding that key, that opens the door for you and me ??
HAPPY VALENTINES BABE!

Valentines Day

The drive from the airport
took us two days.
We had to sample each other
in bedrooms and showers,
in hot-tubs, in the frilled thrill
of paid for rooms.
Later, we did it in the car like kids.
This Valentine’s Day
there will be a different kind of passion,
a love of wine and warm sheets,
chocolates and
old movies.

Premium MemberDaily I Miss Your Kiss

Daily I Miss Your Kiss
Lips do secrete bliss,
Caress like salt sea mist,
Portent of Day's amiss!
If our occasion of tryst,
Has no finale of lips,
"Here's looking at you, labile kids"
Tender your discreet tender kiss!

Premium MemberChristmas Passed

There’s Easter eggs upon the shelves
I can’t believe my eyes
The shops are floor to ceiling with
Their leftover mince pies

Why can’t we have a week or two
Before the chocolate bunnies
Share shopping carts with fluffy hearts
For all our secret honeys

And each year ever earlier
These stores make no excuses
When signs tell us to stand well back
Once we’ve lit the fuses

So tell me why this whole damned aisle
Is full of pointy hats,
And skeletons, and spooky cats
And plastic vampire bats

But long before my kids have frightened
All the neighbours witless
The mince pies will be back because
It’s just nine months till Christmas.

Winter

Winter, winter is the cold, harsh time,
But for me it’s good and funny all the time!
An amazing pattern on the glass inside;
Snow shines like silver around outside!

Kids have fun outside
And make snowmen there;
They go down the slide
And play at snowballs everywhere!

Adults keep up with the kids
And skate, and ski in the wood;
They play with the kids
And remember their childhood!

In winter our houses are dressed out
When the greatest holiday comes in:
We see the Old Year out
And the New Year in!

In winter all the lovers wait when
Valentine’s Day comes again;
With its coming they can
Declare their feelings again!

That is winter for me,
White, cold and snowy;
Such winter is liked by me;
Different winter isn’t needed by me!

Fifty-nine
     years flew by
          here we are

Still in love
     I love you
          you love me

Fifty-nine
     Valentines
          we have shared

Our two hearts
     through the years
          multiplied

Three children
     five grand-kids
          spouses too

Now we are
     fifteen hearts
          how love grew!

Sixty years
     married, June
          We are blessed.

My Valentine's Day 2016

Your Valentine's Day 2016 Contest
Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton

I woke up early and to my surprise,
twenty red roses, one for every year.
Looked behind me, couldn't believe my eyes,
My brother and kids were actually here!

Don't see them as much as I would like to,
as you can tell this brought us so much joy.
excited this visit was impromptu!
They traveled all the way from Illinois.

Always thought love should be celebrated,
three hundred sixty five days of the year.
This year so loving, I was elated,
my family's magical love appeared.

This Valentine's Day was extra special,
seeing family was sentimental.

Cupid's M16

Cupid opened up and fired
a full out M-16.
When everyone dropped dead and down
to such a horrid scene.

The Pope came by
and gave his blessings.
That's all that he could do.
Then Castro phoned to offer peace
and share cigar or two.

But Cupid wasn't there to listen.
cupid shot to kill.
He knew their lovers were in Heaven
and shot with lead to fill.

Cupid's Diaper Rash

As Cupid came on streaming through
the sky in great repose.
The friction caught him by surprise
in every sense Helios.

To solve the problem he would think
"How can I keep my cool?"
And with a nod and with a wink
proved he was no one's fool.

He sprinkled powder on his diaper.
The kind the heroes use.
Then with a jump went head-long up
and set about to cruise.

So when you look to Cupid now,
as one who would fly by.
Remember that his frightening speed
has left him safe and dry.

Bionic Cupid

It's said that Cupid crashed to Earth.
His bones all left for broken.
That God himself said he'd rebuild
in parts as much as spoken.

He gave him two bionic legs
and one bionic arm.
Then added on a robot eye
to place it there for charm.

Now if this sounds familiar
and this tale less than truth.
Forget about Steve Austin
that you learned about in youth.

The truth is that for Cupid's sake
God also gave him teeth.
Big metal ones to wrap around
his mouth just like a wreath.

And now dear Cupid longs to eat
the boys and girls he meets.
For Bionic Cupid's now a monster
and lovers now his sweets.

Note From the Wife of a Retiree

A NOTE FROM THE WIFE OF A RETIREE

I couldn't buy you a Valentine's card  'cause we're always together;
whether in pouring rain or in freezing snow or ANY kind of weather.
You're with me on our "one day trips", or lunch time at the mall,
or overnight in A/C (THAT we love most of all).
You're right there at my doctor visits, or when I do my hair,
or when we visit the kids or folks-- Yep, you are ALWAYS there.
So now you know my dilemma, but my meaning isn't hard:
I'd rather be right by you , then buy you a silly card!

Pink All Day

The old cashmere sweater in my cedar chest
always warming my soul on a winters day

Ice skating with your true love hand in hand
frosty breath brings a warmth to your cheeks

                Anticipating that very first date
first glance the color lightens your way

as if Cupid decided this will be a day like no other
celebrating in stars above Valentine days Forever

It is the day God took hold of your heart and beat it for you ~

Leaving Bruce

Feeling free as an uncaught Christmas goose,
I left on a Valentine's Day with a Dear Bruce
Letter and a tie. Wonder why he kept it for years.
There were tears I took his children, but when he
Finally found me, he threatened to cut me to pieces.

I drove in a blizzard from Tennesee to Colorado.
From my Dad and my friends I got a big Bravo.
I ran out of gas half way there. A policeman helped
Me as did my friends to get me the money. Not funny.
Had three kids, clothes, dog, cat and a bird. Absurb!

Two months later at work I found my true love.
Must have been Heaven sent from our Lord above.
For he didn't date women with kids and I had three.
He raised them after three years dating-God bless thee.
Now we have grandchildren, five of them, one adopted.

He's opted to call my son Dad, as does my son calls Larry.
When I first met him, his face was handsome and hairy.
To him, the three kids were scary, but all came to be.
And now we are all one healthy and happy family.
As it's now white, Larry's shaved off his beard.
