Silverish

The perfect petals puncture the fabric’s purple-blue,
And silver-platter fins paint the water every hue.
A globed sky has thawed, ripe with pine and sapphire stars—
And the glinted sheen of the oil graze on your lips reminds me who and where you are:

South; below the electric-white moon,
Bright enough to bleach my bones and leave me a fool.
Both sun-blind at midnight, rainbow scales in the night light,
Finding the love in the cracks of your paw—unlimited, yet finite.
Newborn, yet aching, with nothing left to give,
With famine’s touch still singing, but no love to let live.

It was my intention to escape you before we met again,
But the bends of the grizzly river flow, uncaring and unwavered—
And now your soft claws have my head, again wishing to be savored.

Premium MemberA Hero's Welcome

Bring forth the heroes of today,
Stalwart soldiers armed with resolute aim.
To battle the forces laid against us,
Those destructors of worlds and minds.

Bring forth the principles of yesteryear,
Stitched upon a banner of truth and integrity.
Where the standard flies free for all,
Remaining permanently guarded and unwavered.

Bring forth the dreams of tomorrow,
Unshadowed by the darkness of the past.
A bright, hopeful beacon for the downtrodden,
To illuminate the path of possibilities.

Premium MemberWhiff Of Foolish Me

My friends have already revealed that I'm in loved with you
That's why I don't know what to do nor to say.
And so am I confounded as to how should I evade this ballyhoo
With no regret when I wake up early in the day.

It seems to me that you are yet unaffected
By the reverberations whispering in your ears?...
But if you'll only knock the portal of my heart unwavered
You'll discover that my heart for you wait and sears.

Others say... I am not perfect for you.
Others say... I am not the man you're looking for.
They may be right for making such comments like these
Comments, however, are not always impeccable and therefore, subject to error.

I may be a fool to love someone who cares not for me.
I may be a fool to choose someone who's not probably meant for me.
God knows how much I love you why don't you look back and see?
For the shadow of a man with sincerity and urgent plea!...

I wish to end this flim-flam jive
Because I don't think the concerned is blind
Why don't you show me the feelings that you hide
And make thine eyes sparkle again with pride!

Times Ravage Beset

The performances gone,
just memory survives

A spirit most willing,
whose body still tries

All motion much slower,
directed regret

Intention unwavered
 —times ravage beset

The Wolf Pt:2

A light cool breeze moves past me rustling my hair, I look forward toward the lake and it stays calm and untouched.
I wonder what I really just felt?
Was it a breeze or something else...

Unwavered I continue to sit by the edge of the lake watching the moon as it rises, feeling the cold sand between my toes.
I sit and wait for the darkness.
I hear the wolf howl, I know it's close..
Too close.
I know he watches, waiting in the shadows for the perfect moment to devour everything that is the essence of my being

Are you the wolf?

Talking Walls

nostalgic and always present, always watching,in silence staring and un judging, giving neither
aid nor caution.,resiliate and unforgiving, unwavered by time and age, these titans, the walls of
the mind, secure and comforting with their cold blank stare..seemingly ever present, limiting
growth to only within their boundary, deeming the outside alien and unexplored, unreaching
and yet they are the sole defenders of what lies within, keeping secrets of all ages,..solace is
within them..and the unexpected lies beyond, stunted is the mind that thinks only within and
gifted is that that searches beyond, safe is the mind within, open is that that wonders
beyond...the scribes of gathered memories, the ones that always remember that that was
forgotten..they are the graceful hand that raises and the merciless that cuts down. The
judges of the sane and the tormentors of the insane, the dictators of what is outwardly
perceived and the wisperers of delicate secrets, hands of the creative and the tears of the
paranoid, your best and worst friend is these walls.

Piece of Mine and Mind

Trembling bones. Arrested jaw.
Like bolt advised to keep affixed
Utter silence as I gape across the starry ceiling
  Thunder crawling closer.
And I, a child,
Abashed in her bosom, dizzy--
under opal sheets of serenity
                               fraying
                   ripped
unraveled.

Against the pane, the bough raps incessantly
A talon scraping at my spine
Amid dissonance, her eyes a soothing refuge
  Sails in squalls unwavered.
Then as abrupt as lightning struck
  Piece of mine and mind
Acquiesce and into sleep
  I slip beyond remorse.

Hold Your Head High

Hold your head high!
Though the rain may fall
And those around appear dry,
You stand, unwavered,
Not asking for material things,
But the expectations of decency.

Hold your head high!
When those fools laugh,
Take not pity on yourself,
But pray for them.
For they never will attain
The real wealth you now have.

Hold your head high!
You’ve taught your family and friends
That success isn’t defined by man,
But rather defined internally.
It is true that we are never alone
And your true value is set by He who is with you.

Hold your head high!
For when you gave of yourself,
You gave to the foundation of man.
You helped to build the structure
Where which your children can stand
And learn and define themselves as you had taught them.

Hold your head high!
Though the crowds always gather
And cast stones as they do,
Remember, He, who was before you.
For it is his path you now walk.
Would you ever want to be anywhere else?
Hold your head high!
