By horse-cart when Santa Claus rode,
Through our untarred yoyo village road,
Axis like a dough disc,
Broke; Santa was at risk;
Lo! His expedition got slowed...!

If I ruled the world,
I know what I would do,
I’d make smiling compulsory,
Whatever we all do.
I wouldn’t permit scowling,
Or a sad face or a frown,
I’d want a grin from ear to ear,
No ever getting down.
But if you had a reason,
That made smiling much too hard,
I’d give the opportunity,
That brush to get untarred.
I’d let you give the reasons,
Why you did not feel your best,
And use my active listening,
Help you get it off your chest.
I know that life is sometimes bad,
We cant help feeling low,
But smiles help trouble disappear,
Well sometimes, as you know.
You know smiles are contagious,
So a smile would be my tack,
And after listening to you,
I hope you’d give me one back.
So it’s my plan for all of us,
That I have now unfurled,
Our lives enhanced by smiling,
If I ever ruled the world!

Gasping for air, I passed out
Thinking about what we could be
Sad and depressed I feel
Looking back or forward
I'm lost
Tossed into the Ocean
And yet I didn't get wet
The beginning of horror
Pure sadness
Uncloaked I feel
Kneeling beside the truth
Yet avoiding the judgment
Oblivious of what was being said about me
I drove into the dark side of thoughts
Breaking the speed limit
Untarred road layed before me
Reeling sounds I hear
Or am I deaf?
Maybe, maybe not
But I hear something
I hear the silence
Yes, it's so loud
Louder than the noise around me
It's power surge is great...
Powerful weakness

I've found my way back there,
To the time
When innocence was pure,
Not tainted
With a little or more guilt.
To when the eyes could tell you
Of what tomorrow holds
While the heart guides its steps.
Once lost,
I found my path
Threaded but untarred,
Worn, rough,
With little shrubs here and there.
The only steps I found there
Were mine still,
So I traced my way down
To the start,
To pick what I left behind.
