Inscribed still stone unholds, supine spirit enfolds
bemoaned psyche enwrapped, entranced soul strings unsnapped.

Filaments of feeling permanently persist unsnapped,
Accrued from the caring concern my father cultivated
Throughout my growing years distraught in disarray.
Hope was a beacon he always kept flashing for me,
Ensuring to light up the course of my life in dark times.
Reassured, I took the journey to reach where I’m today,
Seeing what I’ve achieved he’d be happy in heaven.
Down the memory lane as I walk the last mile, I see
Astride the sand of time his footprints beside mine, and I
Yearn to hold his hand, so he takes me where he is now.

HOSTAGE OF ONE NIGHT
what is his name she asks
but i refuse to tax my mind
though the memory of him
hovers, the one who stole
my virginity, caused my shame
what is his name she asks
for in the beginning i did not tell
sheltered in my deepest mind
divulged when a loved one died
what is his name, will it pop up tonight
in my dreams...i’ve long ago closed the door
but now this monstrous thing hovers
closing in once more...i almost see him
and his sister too and the darkest night
wants to preside in the daylight
through fog and wandering nerves
i still remember clearly...where,
when, what, why. there’s no goodbye
clothing ruthlessly thrown on stairs,
stained, a yellow bodice unsnapped
the scintilla of a window open
my eyes close out the “no” i screamed
in the end i remember
and can’t forget
afterall

In the woods on a soft green patch
trying to get my pants to unsnapped
Hurrying now as my stomach starts to roar
giving no time to drop my drawers
My face is sweating 'I'm I dying?'
the cramps so bad I feel like crying
With relief it hits the ground
thanking God I have no crowd
But what's that sound I hear
humming above the ground?
Thousands of flies coming in to score
up and running I leave behind my drawers
Back at camp my buddies start laughing
when I notice my pants are on backward and I'm still crapping.
