I once saw you across the room
Scribbling letters into a journal like I am now
A hint of red hid underneath the surface
Your flannel, as usual, slightly oversized
droop past the beginning of the steel legs
but not to the ground
Music
I could not hear enticed your ears that day
I stared - unpolite I know - but words stumbled
and fell to the floor
failing to form a line of greeting
Were you well?
Was it madness that absorbed you into a world of your own?
Was it the letter filled with kisses from you lover -
which you opened days prior?
Or was it simply boredom to be alone in that room
The loneliness of trying to understand
and to be understood in return
May I be in there somewhere?
These questions made up my meals and dreams that day
and the day after
and now
To know that we were once alone in that room
But silence and loudness collide at once
I usually sit down with my tea,
And Dora not so far from me,
Her slava drooling from her jaw,
On command she'll raise her paw,
On occasion food will drop,
Dora the hoover cleans up the slop,
She eats for fun she's never full,
One big stomach she's like a bull,
And one big drawback it isn't smart,
She let's one slip a smelly fart,
Such a stench she'll clear the room,
You dare to stay then that's your doom,
For such a size She has some strength,
Match a pitbull without its length,
A favourite pass time the great outdoors,
She'd plan her route her choice not yours,
Toilet done She wants her prize,
In your pocket and its bite size,
And when the day is at its end,
I cuddle up with my best Friend,
She keeps me warm all through the night,
Then let's one rip so unpolite,
Now that's all gone she's here no more,
A grieving pain in my inner core,
Again I look back to the past,
My future once more overcast,
I did what's right I know I did,
The cancer gone and we got rid,
Cost Dora's life it was the deal,
It will take months for me to heal.
NOT NOW
NOT NOW, NOT AT THE MOMENT, AND UNFORTUNATELY NOT TODAY
THOSE ARE HARSH WORDS I MUST ADMIT BUT
THE ONLY THING THAT IS WASTED IS TIME BUT MOSTLY BY USING IT UNFRUITFULLY AND UNFAITHFULLY SO
THE USE OF THESE WORDS SEEM HARSH, RUDE AND VERY UNPOLITE
AND MOST GOT SUCCESSFULL TRHOUGH THEM
SOME GOT POWERFUL THROUGH THEM
SOME GOT MILLIONS USING THEM
SOME GOT BILLIONS USING THEM AND
SOME GOT NOTHING OUT OF THEM
IS IT NOT ABOUT THE WAY WE USE OUR TIME?
WHAT ARE WE SURELY AFRAID OF
BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST MERELY WORDS AND OBVIOUSLY DONT BITE
WHAT ARE WE SURELY SCARED OF?
WHAT IS IT THAT CAN SURELY BE WASTED UNLESS OUR PRECIOUS TIME
SHOULD WE NOT SACRIFICE A BIT OF OUR TIMES THINKING AND DOING POSITVE
EITHER THAT JUST NOT BEING ABLE TO DIFFERENCIATE
TIME IS MONEY, EFFORT AND LIFE NOW WHY MISUSE IT
WHY LET IT FAIL US?
WHY LET IT OVERPOWER US?
NOT NOW....
NOT NOW...
THEY STILL SOUND AND SEEM RUDE TO THOSE WHOM EVENTUALLY
DONT KNOW HOW TO CATEGORISE THEIR DIFFERENT TIMES
NOT NOW....
NOT NOW....
DO THEY STILL SOUND HARSH?
I BET ITS TIME WE INTROSPECTED OURSELVES AND
WHAT WE TRULY WANT IN OUR LIFES
I STILL INSIST ON SAYING
NOT NOW... NOT NOW
Deep in solitude
I hope to reduce the magnitude
Pain in my heart makes it protrude
Of my so called dove
That made an intrude
I fell n love-
Am sure it was a ditch
Now I am in need of a severe stitch
After this unpolite breach.
I was torn apart
With the hope to convert
Eye saw she was the one
But now she has won
In causing me torment
No option but to lament
She moved on so quick
I must be so dumb and thick
Not to read between the lines
Or see the changes in trend
I always tried to ammend
But everytime, the rules I bend.
Deep in my soul
I feel in need of an overhaul.
To me I thought you'd stay
But now you leave me to stray.
I think about how you think
Clearly so shallow
After the things I swallow
From your verbal vommit
Yet to my heart I permit
Anger, avoids to emmit
But she claims I am wrong
Yet daily I sing our song
And hope the pain will not prolong.
Juggled my emotions
I am strangled in my devotion.
I hope karma
Will come- ah!
And my tears
Will turn to spears
