skin?

my skin doesn't fit me.
it looks like it does from afar
but its all gooey and
it doesn't hug me in all the right ways.
but then again is it like that
for everyone or are my senses undeceiving?
is it tailored for everyone but
me?
or is it imposter syndrome and its just my
desire to be
diFferent"
i will know once i'm inside the skin of
another
until then i will feel unsolved and lost
never forgiving my flesh for being a
bad
foundation.

Lilac Orbs

Words silent turn at the melodic tunes
Oozing from the lush lilts of your eyes;
Telling of stung lover’s anthems warm,
Of the rapt poet whose scribbling dies.

Windows into realms old lyricists laud,
Whereon Love and Truth twain thrive;
Each by doubtful duplicities unscarred,
Unsullied by decays of greediest drive.

See how the language of your look,
As some evanescent lover’s secret,
Amid rosy violets resistless shines;
Inviting once-bitten soul truthful yet?

Methinks your mien undeceiving sews
Back to peace yester-heartbreak's all;
Reshaping pulses' rhythms wounded...
Still-white breasts darkened by brawl.

Betrayal Which Changed the World

Preparing a betrayal his target was in sight,
            The only chance he had to succeed in his plan;
To move alongside with a kiss in the night,
So for the enemy to catch at hand.
                       Everything in his eyes was so exciting,
Everything In his mind was so confusing;
Everything In his heart was so undeceiving.
            Judas crawled quietly to the soldiers he sufficed,
                    ‘Peace be with you’ he said with a kiss was priced;
He did not know he was about to crucify the Christ.
Ever since that night, Judas’ act lived forever,
                    He wanted to show his master’s power on earth;
          For his betrayal not of a man but of a God-Saviour,
                    Conceived by the Holy Ghost while a virgin gave his birth.

Afterglow

Afterglow
by ~H~

I listen to you breathing
Where we lay here on the floor
Reveling in the afterglow
Bodies entwined; chests heaving

Your hand presses cool on my skin
Here in my arms where you rest
My fingers caress the lines of your back
As the calmness starts to sink in

What sweet surrender we have met
Your leg pulled over mine
Our heartbeat dances in companion rhythm
Our bodies glistening wet

I listen to your breathing
Where in my arms you lay
Content in what we've created
And a comfort undeceiving

The Gift of Receiving

Christmas is all about the gifts:
The gift of love, whether earthly, or above;
The physical gifts of joy---a muffler or a toy;
The gift of laughing cheer with someone you hold dear;
The gift of receiving, if you're worthy and undeceiving.

Christmas is all about the gifts:
Givers without receivers would cancel giving, too;
Receiving is a virtue, so be glad when you do;
When you get what you want, don't sham a shame and wilt;
Feel no dishonest guilt, take Christmas to the hilt.
