"Into the Ultramarine"

barefoot along the path down to the beach
the memories follow me like seagulls
either side the honour guard of scarlet coastal banksia
and the sharp green scent of Bribie Island pine

wave over me

The wide expanse of a life
like the wild side foreshore
now vastly eroded,
the space between, much shorter

the tides in time
have taken
the sands further out
dissolving the childish past

past the dissolving
further out
the Ocean deep
calls me further in

shedding skin
like a Selkie
diving head first
bare feet the body slippery

into the Ultramarine

the Ultramarine
like a possessive lover
takes me

Premium MemberZinc White and Blue Ultramarine

I hear currawongs threading
their melodic calls through
the trees, sewing a dark
into the cold air.
And far below,
a flock of white cockatoos
screech their noisy chaos
along the deepening shadows
of the valley floor.

They seem like dabs
of zinc white escaping
from a painting, sprouting
wings to lift them
from the canvas
and fly them to where
they flicker on the edge
of the unseen,
before dissolving forever
into the distances
of blue ultramarine.

Ultramarine Dream

Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon.
Infinity pool beside wonderful wide vast ocean.
Your swimming costume in sapphire satin to glow glisten.
Your alluring glances whelming on ecstatic illusion.

On your sky-blue cap reflection of sunrays slips flashes.
Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon
Me sinking in blinking of your deep charcoal eye lashes.
Your lustrous arogant beauty blazing on moist lustrine..

Enjoying soothing aqua touch:Spring is the season
.Seems floating on ocean.frantic excitement to feel
. Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon
Eager hearts twisting whirling twirling in tremendous thrill.

Drinking dormant desires drowning in ultramarine dream.
Boundless joy soaring high without specific reason
As if swimming on ocean vision extending to brim.
Infra indigo sky meets ultra marine horizon.

Premium MemberHer Ultramarine Eyes

Only the heart can measure the distance between eyes...Poet

Her eyes are a bright ultramarine
The most beautiful woman I've ever seen

She is the fervor that floods through my soul
And has filled my heart to the brimful

The ripe fruited vine my hands can hold
I will stay forever as we grow old

Her bluest of blues light the stars at night
And are the first rays of dawn before morning's light

I will never know a more beautiful blue
With each gaze they say, I'm in love with you

a velvet brocade of ultramarine
hushes melodic whispers stirred from the gardens
where lovers prolong their goodbyes

It’s the point of no return.
Eyes dive in, swim, drown, refuse rescue.

Denser than black,
fiercer than blood,
a telepathy of purple,
a saturation of half-remembered yearnings.

It’s an incest of shades,
blue impregnating blue a hundred, a thousand times,
until light is aborted,
but its afterimage persists.

It’s a blue cocktail in a blue bar,
into which a lone teardrop
from a woman’s face falls,
but whether of sadness or of joy,
none will know.

It’s a mystery too deep,
an ecstasy too blinding,

a feeling that sears like a dream.
