Uganda,
My Uganda,
Your Uganda,
Our Uganda.
Land of freedom,
Land of victory,
Land of prosperity,
Land of hope,
And above all,
A land of success.
Where peace resides,
Where freedom resides,
Where calmness resides,
Where peace is peace,
Not pieces of peace.
Home of milk and honey,
Home of roses,
Home of hospitality,
Home of productivity,
Home for the homeless,
Home of everyone,

Oh Uganda—
The crane with wings
Spread them wide and fly
Let the wind sing.
Let that shield and spear shine
For you dwell in a land so divine.
With love you all are bound
Let your light be fine.
Shine, oh Uganda, shine
For now is the time
To polish your spear
And get your shield to shine.
From the bustling streets of Kampala
To the far ends of the savannah
Let your rich culture light the way
Shine, oh Uganda, shine.

hypocrite leaders continue to bite other Africans daily.
as the rebels M23 "Rwanda defence force" bombed
bases of burudian peace soldiers
in DRCongo wantonly.
many people astonished
and claimed that Kenyan,
Ugandan and
South Sudanese soldiers
of East African
Community
are with the rebels M23 to divide
DRCongo into many countries.
It seemed as burudian soldiers did not agree
in some dark deals and continued doing their mission
Of restoring peace in some affected zones.
many Congolese continue to appreciate
the work of burundian soldiers
than monusco and other troops.

There was a lady from Uganda,
Who always knew time's agenda,
She was captured by aliens,
They were the unseen villains,
This became a noised propaganda.

The visceral pains were sharp, stinging and stern!
She swallowed them, in the bloody biting bitterness.
The gory talons of the fat obstetricians hung loose,
Ready to clamour for the afterbirth, salivating like hungry female canines.
“Think of the baby,” said the stony-hearted, vampire-looking hag;
Whose fat mouth dripped blood.
Back home, a shrieking owlet flew over her husband’s hut.
A strange whirlwind shot through the door, and tore the roof atwain.
The news broke: she had gone mortis gestationalis!
The evil child had popped out his left leg first, in protest;
And had strangled mama with its hands - from inside!
It was not about the flat-tyred ambulance.
The drunken doctor,
Who stored his equipment at Mama Phina’s bar, was not to blame.
Neither was it about the theft of sanitisers and lignocaine,
Nor was it about the leaking roofs;
And the stench all around.
It was the craving for sweet blood and tender baby flesh!
William Smelly lay snug in his grave,
As we lowered the two caskets to their final resting place.
One carried a dysfunctional human factory,
And the other was empty.

Perched on the shore of Lake Victoria
Is Speke....
Of its beauty I will speak
In any place I shall be
Granite stones chopped into bricks
Layered one upon another....glued by cement
"Monomutapalian architecture perfected" on the shore of Lake Victoria...
Of its hospitality I will tell
To all l shall meet
"Welcome" to me they said..."feel free"
This is your room...they guided
Some faults I saw
That prompted me to enquire...
"Do not worry"...they reassured..."this is Speke"
Warmly they pronounced..."You are our honorable guest"...
"We upgrade you to an Executive Suite"
"Do I have to add another cent?"...I wondered
"Nay" they said to my disbelief
"Come this way...this is where you will stay...
'til the closure of the errand that flew you here!"

My home Uganda,
the land for me,
where my heart is at rest,
day and night.
The vegetation is green,
the climate is good,
sunshine and rain,
makes it great the pearl of Africa.
The fertility of the soil,
the beauty of the place,
unity and peace,
makes it nice the honey of Africa.
My home is the best,
the land for me
Here i am; alive and free,
the golden of Africa.
