Spindly stretching brambles rebel from main form
Amused bending stems eject spikes of rhino horn
Thorns barely a repellent for birds resourceful
Tweezer glowing twilight globe, a bitter morsel
Fresh field alien green cone births berry's infant
Chantilly lace pale pink petticoat wraps nymphet
Confetti celebratory moult bulges her fertility
Eighty protruding bulbs shiver in vulnerability
Stern season carousel chastens scanty branches
Snow swallow, boggy terrain new tepid attaches
Saw edge foliage unfold, twitching fox ears
Clusters encombour limbs, absinthe adheres
Florid flocks tossle, augment midnight family babble
Morning dew melt sapor stains fingers which dabble
Outcast tongue teaser, lumpy rubber cleaved
Mauve motivate jaunty juice, mouth received

One dark night in the sunshine
I was wearing my PJ's made of wine
in the kitchen I boiled water in a plastic bowl
and made peanut butter toast that was an egg roll
and prepared coffee that was tea in a plate
the rain fell in the snowflakes falling in the sea
I was lacing my runners that were my slippers
and put on my sleeveless coat and glove flippers
I when to the market that was far off shore
and put the groceries away in a drawer
I wrote a poem and put it in the freezer
and brushed my cat with a tweezer
later, I turned on the TV with a rolling pin
and kitty was wearing a sweater made of shark skin

An emperor named Julius Caesar
Used to pluck his fine hairs with a tweezer --
When media just giggled
Caesar wriggled and wiggled --
Said: "My wife hates them ~ I try to please her

i am topsy
she is turvy
i'm an insy
but so is she
no doubt we're
without an outsy
plum dumb
down and out
so naturally we
panicked as she
tried to pull hers
to make it come
out i simply applied
my tweezer fingers
and discovered the
wonder of in by
picking out what
must have been
a relic maybe flannel
from the seventies
hair ball

Form: I do not know?
It was that time of day
I had sex on my mind
So I poked at my wife
In hopes she won't mind
Right now, she said
It's mid-afternoon
And the kids will be home
And arriving here soon
No worries, I said
I'm locking the door
We can throw down some blankets
And make love on the floor
She said, I don't like the floor
Can we jump in the sack
The floor is too hard
Like that thing on my back
It's been a short while
Hmm, will it still work
Will I get her excited for nothing
And kind of feel like a jerk
At my age, I may have to first
stick it in the freezer
But when it defrosted
I'd need me a tweezer
So I went to the pantry
For that little blue pill
And I moved and I grooved
And I couldn't keep still
Finally, some whoopie
That pill, who'd of knew
That was all that was needed
For some good-time woohoo

*Like Caesar I wrote this in the 3rd person:)
In third person he talks just like Caesar
Stuffing bagfuls of sweets in the freezer
Mumbles loud in his sleep
An appointment can’t keep
Often plucks at his brows with a tweezer.
With false tan he conceals his complexion
In shop windows inspects his reflection
Cracks his fingers and neck
And exclaims ‘What the heck!’
When he drinks has no sense of direction.
He’s allergic to pollen and sneezes
Throwing up at the smell of blue cheeses
Hair extensions he wears
When it’s windy he swears
Swallows tablets in fear of diseases.
He invents and tells lies for no reason
Any week any month any season
Does it all with a smirk
(Yes, that’s also a quirk!)
In a cell he could end for high treason!

Body in yoga positions unyielding
Sun light in angles to play with the eyes
Nimble lit fingers are all concentrating
waiting for brain-waves to signal, advise
all for the loosing of splinters
Caught from the deck in an afternoon bathe
Right at the moment of consummate melt
Didn't get up 'till the clouds pulled the shade
an irritant right at that moment was felt
palming new skin holding splinters
Now in a tank top too cold for the air
whisking the house through the windows and doors
Tweezer lit fingers are handled with care
to siphon the micro-wood not to ignore
all for the loosing of splinters.
And wouldn't you know it, one's always left
a touch stone to polish with alkaline fingers
One in scar tissue, anomaly rests
and patiently beds down to sensory linger
all in the losing of splinters.
