Hate, hateful hate, how doth thy poison spread
A venomous fang within the human heart
That doth darken all thoughts of light instead
And tears friends and lovers far apart.
Thou art a curse, a bane upon our race
A devilish spawn that doth thrive on spite
Thou bringeth sorrow to our mortal place
And turneth hearts from warmth to bitter might.
When hate doth rear its head, all love doth flee
And reason's voice doth falter and grow weak
Our eyes are blinded, and we cannot see
The havoc wrought, the peace that we bespeak.
So let us shun this foe, this deadly lure,
And seeketh love, that doth make our hearts pure.

Grievous Words
By: Miracle Man
August 15,2020
The harshness of a persons voice,
can distort the intent of a spoken word.
Though an apology always comes by choice,
it won’t erase any damage incurred.
Proverbs 15:1
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”

Words Help Heal, Or Hurt
Written: by Miracle Man

Communication is a two way street,
it requires both talking and listening.
Meshing the two can sometimes be a feat,
when one party insists on whispering.
Some tickle my ears saying things untrue,
uttering words, they think, I’d like to hear.
Communicating words I misconstrue,
uttered words linger, they don't disappear.
“Many people today don’t want honest answers
insofar as honest means unpleasant or disturbing.
They want a soft answer that turneth away anxiety.”
Louis Kronenberger

I cope with commercials
that sit on my head,
that wallop my westerns,
and leave them for dead.
They shoot me and loot me
till I go to bed.
I scream at a stop light
that steps on my brake,
that raises my hackles
till knucklebones ache.
They turneth me into
a coiled rattlesnake.
I hate when my hamburg
is freckled with fat.
What does "extra lean" mean?
Is it idle chitchat?
I'll be giving the grocer
a crisp caveat.
I abhor dirty dishes
piled high in the sink,
or when morning coffee
is too cold to drink,
or when my dear children
push me to the brink!
I detest barking dogs
when I'm trying to snooze.
Discourteous crows
also fail to amuse.
Perhaps I'll reserve a
Caribbean cruise!

I ‘standeth’ in awe
It warms by day, yet cools at night
Of the ocean, of the lake, and from thy wet ground

Rendered cool, droplets form, liquid water born
N-o-w condensate
Form thy clouds, form thy rain
Through winter ‘formeth’ snow again
Your varied forms, ever-changing face
Whilst humid, vapour in the air contained
Exceed beyond thy limit, thy air cannot hold
Let the misty atmosphere unfold
The tropics of dew
Ever condensing from morning air
In the cool clear night, quietly escape
Cool droplets of dew, morning grass made new

Just in the way one says things ends up setting the tone
With the baggage that brings, more than could be known
Though it's from deep in the heart being too free to reign
Allowing that other instinctive part and thus causing pain
What you wanted to say may have even been appropriate
But in so making your way you soon got caught up in a fit
And other things came to mind and it just went from there
Now you're in a real bind, oh how life always seems unfair
Maybe next time take some advice to train that other part
In who has paid your price and the pure love in His Heart
Momentarily reflect on this and start talking to Him instead
For all the anger will be remiss as His thoughts fill your head
This will only take a minute and saving you so many more
I'm glad you lent me your ear if even to just open that door
For as to what you will find and as to how you will soon feel
For one you'll have peace of mind as the heart begins to heal

As All Hallows’ Eve approacheth my thoughts turneth to darkest dread,
Whilst in old age I harboureth a deep fear of seeing this one’s grim head;
Methinks the Grim Reaper cometh this time with his scythe in hand,
Which striketh maximum fear in me and maketh him feel quite so grand.
Death and darkness doth pervade this spirit’s intent from that great beyond,
And bringeth one a chilling fear if one’s destiny be unending Hellspawn;
All Hallows’ Eve is the image I conjureth of my imminent departure,
But I hopeth for divine intervention and protection during this departure.
For I shan’t want to feel the fear and malediction of the Grim Reaper’s gaze,
As he eerily walketh in the deep mist to bringeth my soul into that darkest haze;
I prayeth then Oh Lord God, haveth an Angel escort me on my final trip beyond,
And spareth me the Grim Reaper’s terrifying visit and his image of Hellspawn.
I asketh thy divine power and all goodness in protecting my eternal spirit and soul,
And delivereth them to Heaven on All Hallows' Eve most sound and quite whole!
Amen! Amen! Amen!

Musings , Wishes and Life
The Fire burneth while our world turneth
yet the rose still holds it's red bloom
The mighty Oaks stand majestic and tall
while man's glory hardly rates a call
The cold Wind bloweth so surely we know
angels bleach the whiteness in the snow
The Forest lives to give beauty and art
wildlife and earthly souls stand far apart
The Sky singeth and the sweet earth reflects
Natures beauty opposite man's many defects
The Soul endures and stays the greatest test
that prove kindness and love serve us best

The rainbow fell between you n I and I watched your beautiful color change.
Feeling so refreshed anytime i remember the Love you so have for me.
Never even a little out off range.
The hope every second, the last tear that brings joy eternally and brings out abundant grace
and blessing, that which people marvel n wonder tagging me as strange.
Indeed all men are liars but You alone, has ma hart.A new me You turneth!a page.

We sought ill love to burn the light of day,
Letting embers cool and night's fair ashes stay,
To envelop desire, virtue in a young man's eye,
Burning fire-bright in an inkwell sky,
And all to drown in holy union bow'd,
Thrice regaling whilst the lady doth allow,
To die and rise with mov'd tears,
As Lazurus waking to the spheres...
But once night became the dawn,
Acteon turneth I, and I into a fawn,
To come again perhaps another night,
When ashes steal new virgin light.

Our qualms doth not live aloft our dreams to confer
Upon heavenly horizons where every soul shall dwell
Twas meant to turneth thy sight away from a lovers stare
Should sunshine always show, should seas forever break swell
Thou and thou maketh one long vow bound before holy eyes
As fate end lives to lure in new casts God maketh so endears
Why hath ye been sojourned in secrecy of where thine truest treasure lies
When in that divine next place, you will sigh at thine sight of no fears
Mustn't time only tell tales lived on by unvanquished surrenderers
Sailing cordially lost with us, addled no more but paddled on pent in pain
Or herein reap rewards wrought upon death’s frozen oar bearers
Shores to shores, we promised ourselves cradles to returneth once again
Thus as adventure unfolds amongst ocean graves hushed we see
Where perpetual peace reigneth forever we are at last in love at sea
