DELICATE DANCE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In nature’s exquisite ballet, a moment of perfect harmony unfolds before me. The hummingbird, a tiny, iridescent wonder, hovers with impossible grace over the trumpet flower. Their fleeting encounter, a delicate dance, speaks volumes of life’s fragile beauty and the miraculous interconnectedness of all things.
iridescent sheen
sunbeams dance upon her back
summer’s tiny queen
fragile, fierce, and free
hummingbird's bold, beating heart
wild and free she sings
invisible threads
connect her to flower’s heart
God’s subtle design
worshipful master’s fez kept slipping off his head.
he was irritated and blamed the trumpet flower.
tittering faeries kept him irritated, this honored Ted.
Ted sat in their bouquet, annoyed by their power.
they had him all confused and curiously tense.
with their girly charms and their faerie ways.
he sat among their giggling in masculine suspense.
wondering what they had in mind for him these days.
smiling smirking faeries are first fun, but they sometimes turn.
his grandpa found out when his heart was captured by one.
gramps lives a life of toil and work, driven hard by his wife Fern.
a faerie who keeps him busy while she flies off and has the fun.
Our life is as evanescent as the
trumpet flower of the morning glory.
The merest chapter in the history
of mankind’s ever compelling story.
Various serendipitous ramblings
ultimately contingent ‘on quarry;
retold to captive audience in tones
melodious as silver-tongued lory.
Redolent of an evening-scented stock,
with a crown of wispy hair as hoary,
we insist to recount all endeavours
in its minute shocking details: gory.
An experience that's unsavoury –
remnants that cross river Styx in dory.
The Wedding of the Flowers
Sweet-William was a bachelor
Who lived a lonely life
He thought he would go a-courting
To hunt himself a wife.
So he called on BlackEyed Susan,
- In her humble little cot -
He whispered, "You're a daisy",
She said, Forget Me Not.
He kissed her on her tulips,
His heart beat faster and faster -
Said he, "I'd have her for my wife"
And so he up and Aster.
"Now when shall we be married?"
She blushed a rosy red;
*Will June the month of roses do?"
"Of course it will", she said.
And gladly on that happy day
My wedding clothes I'll don,
And never in the future
Sew my Bachelors' Buttons on.
The wedding morn dawned fair and bright
The Morning Glories shone
Jack-in-the-Pulpit tied the knot;
He had his Fox Gloves on.
Now they all sat at a banquet
At exactly Four-O'Clock:
The first course was a soup
Made from a four-weeks' stock.
Now they hurried to their carriage
The rice comes in a shower
Away they go as the driver blows
A blast on a Trumpet flower.
I'll live forever by thy side,
And never will I stray.
We always will be happy,
And drive dull Caraway.
Oh she was so willing and so revealing share the love for him episode chilling but yet non revealed she kept it hid behind his shield for in the past her love was hurt she was treated like a trumpet flower in the dirt walked on stomped on crumple fell upon drought in love but she had to figure it out she was in doubt that this man could be awesome sent from God maybe she wasn't out so she had to fall on our knees and pray on it is this a righteous man of God
blowing her trumpet flower
my Jericho walls fall in
my geriatric state she
states she's younger
oh those who cast
the first stone for
crying out loud
geeze please
i live in a
glass
dome
so
don't
damn
me if you
haven't judged
yourself
Orange Trumpet Flower Vine with its orange trumpet shape flower
Has wrapped its tenical around the pecan tree
Now within four feet of the top of that fourty foot tree
It took awhile for it to reach the top
Probably five or six years of sending out shoots a little higher each year
So like human relationships
One being the stalwart one_supporter, nourisher
The other vinelike clinging__taking
Never thanking or giving back to the giver of life
Just sending out those orange blooms to attract attention from pollinators
Some people in relationships are the very same
