This ship here is sinking,
To the murky depths below,
It's got me worried sick and thinking,
About life imitating an art show.
Wonders lie in abscess,
Hell the unimaginable,
Pain is the remedy ready for access,
Tolerance for it is a gamble.
Should I die here alone,
Bury me by the coast,
My sins do burn me till I atone,
Raised glasses for a jocular toast.

LOVE OF ISAIAH
Don't be down trodden for you are of great worth
Isaiah 43:4
Don't be down trodden for you are of great worth
For in the eyes that the Father has given me
It is of no surprise the third eye looks straight at the heart
And into the eyes of the Father
For in the eyes that the Father has given me
Beautiful son, beautiful daughter
And into the eyes of the Father
You are honored and I love you
Beautiful son, beautiful daughter
It is of no surprise the third eye looks straight at the heart
You are honored and I love you
Don't be down trodden for you are of great worth

Torn dress and a faded face
Used and forgotten
Trodden into the concrete
Till she is found in the street

"Paint in silence”
“The Weight of Temp”
Colour your canvas and spill your Art
shake and awaken many a heart
Untether your soul
from your whole
escape mundane and time
and let your brush rhyme
Have Man radiate
pour oil colours on his trait
Carve his seized dreams
and his insight of flowing streams
Let me read his cry of birth
and see the drops of tears on earth
A valiant core, the shell is worn
could not be broken, though torn
You display a challenging stand
behind a back forced to bend
*****
Radiant and on the wane
Bliss and pain
Loss and gain
A Life to hail
Trodden paths not in vain
Shall we complain?!
*****
Alienated and empty
but oozing out Faith and Beauty
Once hailing many a dawn
now only dusk to look on
Of resistance, endurance and devotion
bow in dignity to God’s laws of creation.

His knowledge catches fire.
A flame, a burning ache,
spreads from the scalp
to the sole of his mind.
Later, he finds that flame
dead in his distant daughter’s
wound. If he tells it aloud,
people will call him mad.
Feelings are sometimes
synchronized in the track
of telepathy. His mind
receives signals again.
His call surprises his
spouse beyond the sea
the moment she muses
about him. Cells of souls
merge together, sharing
the distant pangs and joys.
Mind has been linked
with extension cords.
It burns with the power of
deepest love. There’s a
down-trodden sense, waging
within for recognition.

My shoes lie prone like dogs waiting for a new adventure
Will it be a soft seashore shuffle?
A jaunt through the mall, all dusty with grime
A plunge to tippy-toe into mud and puddles
A climb up a tree or hike up mountain slopes
A skip through playgrounds with the kids
A ride up an escalator, what a relief!
All polished and shined, a first date in mind
A twirl around dance floor, avoiding soft toes
Laced up tightly and properly for business date, late
Or pounding the pavement for shopping walk jaunt
A stroll through the park on soft green grass, fresh mown.
Finally to relax off-feet, in lounge room, at last we're home,
Before shoes shed, get bedded in closet with friends,
Who share tales and tongue wags with the shodden down-trodden.
