Tricking Poems | Examples

4:20 evening

Please love me in completion
That you have seduced me
into the cuspuss of having
Only then to say that their are
Others
To claim it's natural to be mean
and uncaring, sorts the very dignity
Of Savant people
The ruins of your past relationships
are uncovered
Revealing the architecture of our
demise
Speak me as yours to restore the
decency of saved and never-savaged
Peoples
A nurtured land to bare the fruits
Of our labor
That our togetherness is neither in vain
or unwanted
To each ends and in full supply might

From Phat or Fat
Tricking a man to
Marry
By: Wellknown Writer
we be together
To devalue the terms of being used
and neglected
That we as one might never see suffering
as a means of punishing ones
Preferences and misgivings
Oh love perfectioned in trust
Speak me as yours
Might I sort the fruited plains
For our wines

On the pirate ship lollipop
all of your sugar I’m licking.
So addicted I just can’t stop,
at baseline my lips are sticking.
A smile and bubblegum tricking,
cute with emotional damage.
The bulletin isn’t clicking,
set a fire enjoy the carnage.

clarity in lucidity
in the waking state
tricking into a dream
that our limited free will
retains seeming freedom ~

requires softening attention
in time dissolved stillness
awareness self-aware
fulcrum void-centric
presence formless

Premium MemberThe Farmer’s Wife

What you doin’ up there in that clock son?

I ran up here to watch, mom.

Watch what, son?

You remember my three blind buddies?

Yeah, them scoundrels Hickory, Hickory, and Doc.

              Yeah, they the ones
       They say they gonna chase after the farmer’s wife this morning;
                   I wanna watch.

Well, I ain’t never seen such a thing in my life!
          Youngsters today!
Those boys gonna lose their tails one day with their tricking!
                Mark my words!

         It’s just fun, Mom.

Okay, son, but you stay out of it, you mind.
              You comin’ home for lunch?

Yeah, I’ll run back down at one
         just before the clock strikes;
hates it when it does that.

Okay, son,
      I’ll put some cheese out!

AS IT WAS

I want to rewind and not change,
Stay and hold on to the days when your name felt like home.
When our conversations were not careful,
When love wasn't something to be attenuated,
But something that simply was.

I'm surviving the silence you left behind,
Trying to fill the gaps with memories,
Tricking myself, saying time can walk backward,
Can undo the unraveling, and can stitch ourselves whole again.

This is not war but absence,
Not betrayal but distance,
Not anger but the quiet ache of being left behind.

I don't know where to place this longing,
The pain to return to the place that no longer exists.
But if love was once real, does it still echo?
And if I reach for you, will I only find empty air?

Premium MemberMy Truths

My truths, your truths and lies
Mind games, gaslighting, fooling, deceiving, tricking, and misleading
The power of words connects, it can be so deceiving
So many shades of grey for a little white lie
The veil on her green eyes
Subtly hides the pain so deep of her husband truths
Revealing an anguish from within that was not part of
“I do” on the day they took their solemn vows
The bottle in the trembling hand in truth
Is the mysterious secret mistress - sadly
To the diseased mind the truth is at the bottom
Making believe is her truth as she smiles and laughs
Her truths, his truths, a tie.

Autumnal cinnamon

Autumnal cinnamon scents the air
Tricking and treating, if you dare
Fancy costumes, ready to scare
Autumnal cinnamon scents the air
Children have bounties of sweets to share
Bobbing for apples and crafting a snare
Autumnal cinnamon scents the air
Tricking and treating, if you dare

Autumnal cinnamon scents the air
Fancy costumes, ready to scare
Children have bounties of sweets to share
Tricking and treating, if you dare
Bobbing for apples and crafting a snare
Assuring all ghosts that you just want to care

Growth of a Woman in Pieces

Thick humidity of memories clog a small girls heart
That pitter-patter like soft, insignificant rain
Such a lonely life was just an urban myth
But I knew the truth of it all

Soaked to the bone, or rather the soul, I took a troubled breath
And I spoke my deep blue feelings to a stagnant sea
The shivered incoherence of my desperate pleas
Went, in tortured time, unanswered

17, forcing out a pained smile
Feigned and faded, frustrated and fated
Destiny leaped and hollered at a touch of weakness
Scribing plans in stone that scare me more than anything

Years went blurry and disoriented, surviving on withering hope
Yet eventually my feet moved slowly, again and again and again
23, I speak my light blue feelings to tricking streams
23 and my god I hope, I know, forever and ever on

Premium MemberReverse Psychology

Mark Twain wrote how Tom had Huck paint his fence
using reverse psychology on him.
Tom bamboozled Huck, yet in his defense,
Huckleberry Finn was known to be dim.

Tom baited Huck by acting possessive,
taking great pains to express his delight.
He made painting the fence seem impressive,
taunting that Huck could never get it right.

At first, Huck laughed; then, he begged for a chance
to whitewash the whole fence and prove Tom wrong.
Tom planned on tricking Huck well in advance:
bruising his pride, until Huck went along.

Such reverse psychology demonstrates
how the subconscious mind manipulates.

Premium Memberabusers and trolls smile too

Some of the most charming people in the world
are trolls with mean dispositions they hide for months at a time
They like to date lively, joyful, women
These charmers are lovely; saying the right things
Tricking these women into falling in love with them
After they capture these women, they attempt to isolate them
Doing their best to keep them from their families and loved ones
Stating their friends are not “good enough” for them
Making fun of their woman if she wants to see her “mommy” or “sisters”
Beware of anyone who wants to isolate you.
They might smile, and you might have seen charm from them
But beware. Abusers and trolls smile too.

BLESSING OR CURSE

BLESSING OR CURSE

In one sense, it’s a new start to creativity
Like poets having read many others’ work
It’s research and access to all that’s online
Yet could any one of them say it was mine
Making connections where few might lurk
Does this presage a new kind of proclivity

It’s as much about bulk data as intelligence
For sure, it’s more than joining up the dots
There’s benefit to be gained as well as ills
But the marketplace will demand new skills
With many careers advisors tied up in knots
But I am sure A.I can offer a good defence

It generates much more than words and art
And will be the harbinger of much fake news
Copying voices, with mocked up images too
Well-honed speeches will soon be tricking you
Yet claims that it’s not here yet, is just a ruse
Mankind has to prepare for a brand new start

HEARTLESS PATRIOTS

Once again, they horde the fuel
Tricking everyone to blame the gov't spoil.
Weeks ago, they pledged loyalty
To serve her faithfully with all might
Yet here they are, inflating prices, pocketing taxes.

They saluted the flag with pride so grand
But in their eyes, Sierra Leone is a battlefield
Where, like a jungle, the fittest survives
Even if leaving compatriots to die
To a grueling inferno on a highway drive.

Like a puppeteers, they toy with prices
Steal and champion every vice there is
Their loyalty to the country is a hollow shell
Where offsprings of deception dwell
Their places of worship arenas to trample the hearts of their compatriots
Treating each of us like idiots.

A heartless patriot, an empty shelf
Striving to fill up, putting country behind self.
Wretched monsters by all indication
Boasting of knowledge and the best education
But the day of reckoning looms, where truth will eclipse their deceit.

Hermiffaneighs and Swallium

Told me he liked
the edited version
so I never bothered
to wise him up
spent my time between the two
I laughed knowing
I was the only one who
knew what was
up
but when he said
when he said
Even though I love you
don't think I can take your hand
you get off on tricking me aint no way
to treat a man
gathering words
and scripting things
like we don't know whats
going on
we aint got know commitments
you just need to think
you doing wrong

Washing Away Sin from a Tree

How can I perfect me, if I let the actions or the words of others affect me, since a child God muted my prayers & neglected me, she said she loved me but she showed it through telepathy, abuse, & profanity, abandon by family, even Lucifer & his army wouldn't stand with me, catastrophe's shooting dice with calamities, so my survival mode kick in, that was just the man in me, tryna break free from my desires inspired me, my souls been suffocated while my spirit suffers from burns beyond a 3rd degree, Eve & Adam ate of me, I'm that forbidden tree, sin sizzling, sitting in the belly of a bumble bee, sorcerers invoking demons through their philosophies & monstrosities, birthing Plato & Socrates, their illusion of life tricking our retina, for that's all we see these beings killed the Messiah then committed blasphemy, so what you think they will say about or do to me?

So see why I cant let the actions or words of
others affect me, when I'm tryna perfect me,
washing away sin from a tree.
