Shayla Part 2

In her bedroom, Shayla sits alone,

Her drawings scattered, her heart turned to stone.

She pulls off her glasses, a sigh escapes her lips,

"My whole life," she murmurs, "a maze I've slipped."

Her hair, a cascade of brown, falls to her shoulder's grace,

She waves her hand, a yearning, a pleading space.

For Charles, the one she loves, but he won't stay,

Outside her window, he's walking away.

She remembers the nights they shared, the laughter and the tears,

But now he's gone, and she's left with all her fears.

She yearns for his touch, his gentle, loving care,

But he's rejected her, and she's left to despair.

Her drawings, once a passion, now collect dust and decay,

A reminder of the happiness that's faded away.

She wonders why she's not enough, why he can't see,

The love she has for him, the love that's meant to be.

In her bedroom, Shayla weeps alone,

Her heart is heavy with sorrow, her love unspoken.

She wishes she could turn back time, make him stay,

But he's gone, and she's left to face another day.

Tragically Ironic

She stumbles from the needle,
on life's ugly, jagged edge;
yet with gracefulness and beauty,
she leaps out from the ledge.

Tragically

Tragically

Cold piano keys
Cool and heavy
Beneath my fingertips
Smashing chords
My feeling erupts
Its voice a deep octave
I blame you
I blame me
I waited patiently
The melody picks up
Manically
The chords belt out
Powerfully
It isnt about what we choose
Life demands us
To do things we dont want to do
Pinning us into corners
Where we either live or die
Sometimes you choose life
Because its hard to die
Our hearts scream childish truth
We rely on our minds
Love behaves irrationally
It asks us to love tragically.

Free Cee a Tragically Bitter Kill

A TRAGICALLY BITTER KILL

I swore on the soul of Nicole
But Nicole left a hole in my heart
It was my heart Nicole swiftly stole
And she swore we would never come to part

We were headed for forever together
Nicole and I were a perfect pair
But sometimes lovers hit stormy weather
And fate is too often unfair

Her eyes shimmered like the purest of gold
And her hair had the luster of a gem
Too often that stormy weather grows cold
As a flower wilts and bends on its stem

Destiny promised us forever and a day
But fate had a very bitter goal
Nicole died in a horriblyh tragic way
And that I swear on the soul of Nicole

Tragically Beautiful

Suffering is more poetic than happiness.
It gives you a reason to stand in the rain.
To be an outcast. To defy formality.
It's what you want. You want to be depressed.
It makes you more interesting.
But you're not.
Tragically beautiful.
But not interesting.
I will stand with you in the rain.
Only if you laugh at me.
Don't critique me.
You are not as smart as you think.
I will sit with you in a dark room.
We can drink wine.
But I will not discuss displeasure.
Kiss me instead.

Desperately Lonely, Tragically Invisible

The times we share together
Are magical memories in the making
Leaving me at peace
In total contentment with us

Your radiant warmth surrounds my soul
Protecting it from loneliness
Of the countless years of neglect
That fights so hard to hold on

My arms are there to wrap your warmth
Ensure that it never grows cold
With the coldness that comes along with indifference
Or being as thin and transparent as cellophane

We will never again
Be desperately lonely, tragically invisible
Left alone in purgatory
By the broken promises of false love

Now we are one
Except when we need the strength of two
Companions in every endeavor
Hand in hand through life
