The scent of night perfumes my pillow here tonight
alongside jasmine dreams that will never go away
A traceless dusk awaits me by tomorrow's infant light
as I dream beneath the umbra of a lost forgotten day
Silently I revel by the flowered gates of Paradise
jarring open with my fingers parting veils of time
A harp of gold is being plucked right before my eyes
as I float towards its cadence, I feel quite sublime...
Ephemeral presences with feel and touch of home
everything is moving smoothly as I begin to slide
Judgement day, I have arrived, here I stand alone
waiting before the Jury, it makes no sense to hide
Here inside this fragranced Kingdom an aromatic bliss,
permeating right through heaven, just like a gentle kiss.

An abstract dull spirit, amorphous and loose,
Cloudy and irate, possessing the even soul,
Haunts the frail mind and body on the whole
Of the one who fervently chases a wild goose
Firmly believing the strange enigmatic world
Of fancy to be real and divine, demanding all
Venturesome feats such as a sacrificing fall,
And even the human nature whirled or furled,
Or ,lost cornered in a traceless, mazy cavern
Letting the conscience search for the deep
Hurt ego , in pretext and unwilling to return,
But still making a play out of vanity steep:
The worldly Eden has far greater things to seek,
Know, feel selflessly and be Nature's bit, meek .
(Apologies to Shakespeare's sonnet 126)

With quite some ups and downs, twists and turns,
so illusionarily the mundane affairs fare,
racking everything up so far into thin air.
Traceless the same is my beloved,
like a draught slipping through the door shoved,
only a wisp of fragrance, ethereally evocative, in dream of old lingering deep.
Meretriciousness submerges, merging my melancholiness into high wind,
without the slightest sightly serenity in retrospect seeming to seep.
So lonesome the small alcove, my innermost outpouring has only nihilism to find.
End of dream brings me no beginning of waking,
no fortuity for fancy fondness in the making.
Royal, royal roads of love far and near, just lurk out of my lap;
Neat, neat niches for couples a dime a dozen, just lack of mine.
Freezing up instantly both dismal floccules citywide flying
and full bosom of sentimentality seething out of my sap,
only wanders and wades constant contemplation in wooing want.

Traceless marble existing perpetual
Focus the tender the pretty glamour
The fidelity she carry, unexpectedly
A flickering ocean may have marry
A murmuring whale hush to shore
And sparkle in wind before all, yes
Waves of feathers dressed in silk
Floating tender white fabric gloss
A Rose in May showers light rays
Till dawn an endless moon flown

Please...do not look away…
I am more than what you see…
I have no claims or expectations.
I am more than innocence fleeing..
more than flesh and blood, but soul as well.
I am free of selfish wants, fear or greed …
I am like a fruit...on the fringe of fruition…
even though my skin is scared and dirty
beneath this frayed and tag-rag dress.
I am the essence of this land and place….
yet placeless…the mirrored gaze
of countless faces…reflecting the shine of my existence…
yet...I'm homeless in my home…without you today.
Can you say some words to me,
words born from your heart…
that your lips can proclaim?
Today, I left a message for you
inscribed within my eyes…the sweet of my smile.
and even though embosomed by despair…
these mere seconds of life... I celebrate…
no time to waste on bootless tears.
Oh how I long for the day when
we'll transcend these mortal constraints.
Until then... I'm but a traceless, faceless gem...
waiting for you to turn and see me.

I know you can't see me
And my appearance you barely see.
Striving for your attention, is like being lost at sea.
You can't find me on the map or you compass.
Because being with you, I know its justs being traceless.
You know I always care about you and wonder when your sad.
So what not give the feeling back, so that so bad?

Banal secrets…
Just another night.
He leaves
a bagful of snacks,
cans of emptiness
scattered on the lumpy couch,
in front of the tube
now broadcasting
a series
on those who are yet to return,
the traceless ones
the lost ones.
The verandah on which
he comes out at night
comes out amid night,
is touched by a sudden gust.
The wind has passed rivers and mountains.
It whispers the name of a sister,
full blood sister of this middle aged man,
who has kept her in heart
and in lungs, there is those nicotine sponged.
The waft calls his lost sister
Traceless, fade away.
He face the brazen night. Dark.
A clueless dog is barking. Is there an entity?
May be just a shadow from the life
he has buried in the town they used to live;
a town which has consumed
a girl returning from school; a town which has always
known this man’s, this brother’s folly.
But
he has only pushed her teasingly; a mere play;
the canal, the greedy canal, which has sucked a girl
sure is the one to be blamed for.
Still
he harks the screams in his suppressed dreams.

I wish I could remember the first day.
First hour, first moment of your meeting.
If bright or dim the season.
It might be summer or winter for aught I
can see.
So unrecorded did it slip away.
So blind was I to see and too forsee.
So dull to mark the budding of my tree.
But would not blossom yet for many or may
If only I can recollect it.
Such days of days.Let it come and go away.
As traceless of bygone snow.
It seemed so little, but meant so much.
If only now I can recall that touch.
First in hand in hand?
Did one but not too know..........
