Mrs. Brown and the Great T.P. Run
by M. Griswold 11252021

Mrs. Brown went to town for toilet paper she could squeeze.
Arriving at the store she asked the clerk petty, pretty please
“Where is the toilet paper that’s soft and wipes with ease?”
“We’re out of it” the clerk answered with a rusty wheeze.

Mrs. Brown being frustrated then left all in a big huff-n-puff.
She then started searching all around for that T.P. rolled-up stuff.
Uptown, downtown, all over town but not a roll could be found.
“What’ll I do?” she asked of herself, with a big sad frown.

Then, when she thought all was lost and had given up the search.
A thought came into her head from GOD “Go ask at the Church.”
Without hesitation Mrs. Brown started running faster and faster.
Finally, to end up at the Church and knocking over the old Pastor.

“I need a miracle Pastor” she said breathing hard, gasping for air.
“I really need some toilet paper please. I can’t find any, anywhere."
“And God directed me here.” Mrs. Brown stated, loud and clear.
“Yes, I have some, but it’s Holy.” He laughed, grinning ear to ear.

Metaphors That Hunger Tp Be Heard

Do you think that you can’t write a verse
Free or formed, a villanelle or song
Do you fear the end then feel accursed?

The first words are banana, gold and terse
Start from that new sentence on your tongue
Do you think that you can’t write a verse?

Bananas ,phallic symbols, unrehearsed
What you write is almost never wrong
Is you fear the end be not accursed

Golden is the joy when we’re immersed
In the company that knows our tongue
Do you think that you can’t write a verse?

My lover speaks but he is often terse
He prefers to use a gesture not a word
Is you fear the end you’re not the first

In the mind float symbols , gold, absurd
Metaphors that hunger to be heard
Do you think that you can’t write a verse?
If you fear the end , we’re here at worst

Premium MemberTp Trails

My toilet paper
regularly trots
out of the bathroom,
throughout the whole house,
no, it is not trained.

If it were trained
I am certain
it would proudly
stay nice and neat.

My cat walks
it every
single day;

Toilet
Paper

trails.

Tp Is Gonna Be

TP a tragedy for the brave and free
  free to wreak and destroy,
  destroying with a sinister's ploy.

Lurking in the background,
  wearing her false crown,
  crowned to rule all those
  she fooled.

TP the death of the brave and free
free to halt what the Founders'
  had wrought.

Being American isn't one for you
and the other for me, me I am Free,
free to succeed on the shores of Liberty.

Learning America's true history, now I
see You and Me, together we stand,
  divided we fall, falling continuously
into the pit of a spiritual mystery.

TP, will be a tragedy for the brave and free,
a nation no longer free as the Founders'
  sought it to be.
