Eyes close head tilt back...
As I arrived out of thin air
the sand was warm to touch
the tide rush in from the shore
water cool as it covered my feet
rays from the sun heat my skin
I searched for a lounger under a tent
table had a tray of things to enjoy
shades, fruits, books, and glass of ice
cooler with bottled wine and water
warmth and peace was my intentions
I exhaled my tension about winter blues
chose to open water and tasted fresh fruit
poured wine on sphere shaped ice cubes
put on shades, selected a book, and relaxed.
Mirror neurons wherever you look a
Veritable house of mirrors.
Tell me your troubles or not I will
take them on all the same
When you turned in line at the grocery store
with eyes that called out to me
message received, were you lighter in step
as you walked away
For I trudged out into the winter's glare
tipping the scales heavier than when entering
What some call Aldis I, with my mobile
Freak show in tow I refer to this gauntlet as life
I try to keep my head down hoping to dodge the inevitable bullet
But found I am cowering by the frozen foods
trying to camaflouge myself appearing aloof and cold
As you step into my realm my sacred personal enclave the transference begins with a hum.
Were it not for the transcendence of joy and beauty from the occasional wry smile of a child
Or the grounding keen eyed sobriety of the aged
I would never go out again
Troubles Around Then Will Tote
My troubles around then will tote;
Much time to destroy do devote,
Sounds familiar;
Somewhat similar,
Financially trying to stay afloat.

Need an anti-dote.
one note at a time a chorus frog totes winter away
Her only exercise is to get up for food or water
or to relieve herself in her private chamber.
I walk her outside about two or three times a week
but she's no sooner outdoors then she wants to retreat
back to her comfy spot indoors with me.
Her tired old legs are stiff and can't handle the flight of stairs
Thank goodness for My Tasha Girl tote bag.
Her four legs easily fit into the four holes in the center of it.
Each side has a handle and when I hold them together she's a perfect fit.
This makes her journey up and down the stairs more bearable for her
being that much like a piece of luggage, I'm basically carrying her.
