Toothful Poems

And Africa Came

And Africa came with a beauty regalia,
the sun was on her with a toothful giggle,
the breeze waved by dancing along paths.
She seized many eyes attention at the gate,
no human was able to think or worry again.

Her eyes shone like the stars of heaven,
Her nose pointed professionally to the sky,
beautiful legs she came with for all to see
and men were lost in the myopic of their love.
Home she brought back from abroad to stay.

And Africa came with a broad grin to tender,
Mother praised her innocence to the waves,
Father rejoiced with his clans who joined.
We have gotten a land flowing with love,
nothing is cupped in the envy of their soul.

And Africa shall serve all who dreams,
clothed in a freeway way of understanding,
Our yams are at the village square for her,
We have prepared the kola nuts for all clans
No more bathos of war in the land of Africa.

This is our dreams that a messiah to come,
now Africa has come with a gladden heart
no more pains of Armageddon shooting war
For who stand here is of harmony and grace
And Africa came with love to protect all.

Bubble Freeverse

Bubble freeverse

Bubbles bursting all around,
Watch out for sour grapes
Haunting words of poncford youth,
Suck some aigs they bubble brownly,
Toothful toothful toothful tooth, in truth,

Bubbles fractured, virgin bubble,
Fragile little perps that’s all,
Historically the owners right,
Trouble is you’re every ready,
Soon gone no right or wrong,

Regret full lack of bubble,
 in yer bloody bath,
Suck on cider no more trouble,
Bore water, no lather,
Lay back, kick and bloody laugh.

Always Tell the Tooth In Court

ALWAYS TELL THE TOOTH IN COURT

Queen’s dentist did a filling in her crown
Monarch paid him with one poetic ode
And then quickly left London town
Dentist didn’t like this payment mode

Dentist and patient in court over bills
Judge said let him pay who wills
Lisping judge said he wanted the tooth
Whole tooth and nothing but the tooth

Dentist said she reaped what she sowed
According to the dentists’ payment code.
Judge awarded dentist an extra ode
To clear up the royal mess on what was owed.

Johnson's Ode

Born dead put in a bucket,
Bellowed and got himself saw,
Tetanus at 10, bloody bad luck
Pus filled veins had for sure,

Doctor’s would take his leg off.
father said “no good , no more,
one legged horseman, is useless,
might as well be dead for sure,”

snatched from the Mungindi hospital,
went to a herbalist, Chinese lady’s door,
she medicated, doctored the cripple,
back on two legs now for sure.

Doctor’s teeth gnashed, they knew it all,
Said "he will die of Tetanus poor boy,"
Alternative medicine was on the ball,
They had to eat their words, some call,
The bitterest taste of the gall.

Premium MemberOde To the Rock Wall

One by one your bones are stacked,
to hold back Mother Nature.
Or as a need for privacy,
a man made stone enclosure.

You turn a graceful curve around,
a walkway or a drive.
At times you are snap-line straight.
A Canvas for artistic eyes.

You end against a building wall,
or with columns as sentinel ends.
At times your left with toothings out,
so you may continue once again.

Be you cottage stone or slate flats,
created of rip rap or river rock.
Your rugged beauty ads some flair
and curb appeal around the block.

You lead the way, block a path.
Keep man out of danger.
You silently stand against time,
a stone faced, familiar stranger.

*note. Toothing. When a stone or brick wall is left
unfinished, with bricks or stones left jaggered at the end,
so the wall can be continued at a later time.
