Losing It Again

Losing it... things don't mean .
Can't just make it fit.
Take a knife and make a slit... no... won't do it.
Time to get lit.
Trust it. Don't know yet.
 it. Not literally, ...
 don't know yet...
gotta stand my ground, unstable,
it's gone, can't be found,
my mind isn't able, not alone...
A storms coming, clouds inbound,
find the cable, tie down, no sound...
take a number, sit down,
it's too late, too soon?
The alarms went off but clouds were already circling... this storm turned into a hurricane
don't want to feel anything ...
get rid of it all just to numb the pain,
Can't fix my heart or my brain..
too late, already ingrained.
Make me feel insane
scream it silently
 it's all in vain...
time to let go
and let the others take control before i fumble...
sitting backseat watching the waters rise and buildings crumble...
the game plan was botched who dropped the ball?
I'm giving in before I fall.
I'm becoming locked inside my head but maybe it's for the best...
let the others take a turn while I try to get some rest.
Can they tell it's not me?
I guess we will see... set them free...
so mote it be.

Premium MemberNEW Cowboy Lingo From Yours Truly

You need to be a really good shooter if you catch your hat before it kisses the ground -- lest it be you.

Cowboys like to do things nice -- and -- fast because just doing it nice will come out a mess.

It's worth the run to do a Dallas spun around. (Fort Worth & Dallas Commerce Exchange)

Before the Bronc bell sounds off, tie-down real tight, lest you buck off headlong out of sight

If you shoot low, aim for the sun, and if you shoot high, at least you know where you going.

Cowboys never laugh, they're busy holstering their guns.

Knotty

A knotty path, woven in twine
With twists and turns like frizzy vine
With ups and downs and rugged plains
With teary tales and bloody stains

Above and below knots of square
Are damages one can't repair
For they're engraved in hearts of stone
And their hellhole reaches the bone

But time is kind for those who wait
For those who love and shun the hate
For those who tie down their burden
On the waiting halls of heaven

For time will come when chains will break
Knots will loosen for goodness sake
The knotty path will soon unfold
The sky will clear as it was told

Keep, knock, knotty poetry contest

Orbitals

Radiant like the sun,
Like the depths of ocean.
Lies the Epicentre around the coldness of void and the warmth of magma.

If the momentum is too fast,if may go out of control like the consequences of present.
Too slow and the past will tie down the hope.

Bursts will occur at the right time,
To push the ball beyond the void of darkness,
In the chase of distant shiny star.

Cornered by the will of millions,
A step at a time,it may take decades
To move a step forward.
Narrow are the possibilities,of the error has occur in the past.
But not the lesson it teach.

If you fall, then fall like the debris.
Calmly accepting the dept of ocean everytime it falls.
The wonder will shine for millennia.
To those who supported it,will be trapped in shadow.

Reality is,no one cares.
Only for the pillars,it glow like the radiant Sun.

Premium MemberUnder My Skin

her warmth seeping in
still I fight
what's changing me
wrapped up
in something
more
than birds singing
sun rising
fresh morning
and being free to
blast away
in a blaze of glory
yet I trickle
down her cheek
one tear drop
in an endless sea
softly slowly silently
a subtle sigh in the night
I don't want to tie down
what I don't want
tying me down
but I will
liberate what
sets me free
I know
damn, I know
I'm melting
fire is creeping in
somehow I let her
under my skin

Premium MemberA Witch Flits and Twists Through the Indigo Mist

A well-worn witch flits and twists through the indigo mist.
Gloating in genius, I look at my well-read list.
Bats shaken out of their sleep, come out to dive bomb.
I toast them with my dragon breath, singing a psalm.

The witch gives me a shake of her dirty little fist.
She makes me happy with her anger. I tie down her wrist.
Her pet crow dive bombs me as I add to the pyre.
I will lash him to it also, before I set the fire.

Do you think you are being too cruel? Little dragon asks me.
I roll my eyes, happy as I could ever and I mean EVER be.
My mind is made up. I am getting rid of all this garbage today.
My children are so crazy about these video games they do not want to play.

Halloween Horrors is the first video game to toss.
Followed by Witchy Wind Chimes and Ghost Busters by Ross.
I smile at the icons as they are deleted from my phone.
Now we can be a family again. Is that a ringtone?

Premium MemberApocalypse

At the apex of the hellstorm
Came Salvation in maidenform
Cold silence emanating from her lips
Her method of talk strapped around her hips
A tie-down, two-holster, two-gun rig
That legend called th— “The Apocalypse.”
The masses interrupted in a whisper
Again the masses whispered
“The Apocalypse.”

Green Bungee Cords

St. Patrick's Day does come but once a year,
to those wearing green here's a mighty cheer,
so may the kilts fly high
as the parade goes by...
A toast to the lads who tie down their gear!

The Christmas Carol

It's time, a tree-mass patrol.
Poverty, the Carol leads.
Who fell in this?
We,that don't have't done
Here in our Carol deed.

The mass choir,
Fufu tying gele.
Eba on suit with red tie.
Rice at the forefront, moody 'n' drizzle.
Who buys me this season?
Chickens,being instrumentists,
Played off-tuned cacophony.
Staccato for crescendo, innuendo for diminuendo.
Soon garri 'n' groundnuts invades.
With shots of poverty shoots.
Fufu with loosed gele,
Eba with tie down
Rice alerted,ran helter skelter.
And there the Christmas carol lies.

Wife and Her New Computer

Wife and Her New Computer

How has she been doing so far?
Becoming a computer rising star;
Now with her we better not mess;
God with computer, her did bless;
Better buy another round for the bar.

Her new computer she does adore;
So fast have to tie down to the floor;
Drive has proven to be so hard
It can even condense a magnificent card;
Thankfully, they had one in their store.

Not As Pretty As She Seems

Just about to thaw
Then the numbness blankets me
I thought we finally hit our stride
But it’s me who can’t seem to see

I’m the plague
The infection that spreads
Rusting the perfect simplicity
Taking captives and counting heads

I have to tie down the bodies
Make them stay with me
Just a matter of time
‘till they break free and flea

Why can’t I get the story straight
It’s that lullaby baby
You know it, but I changed it until it appealed to me
The one I’ve tortured into a hellish reality

Lay my head down
Wake up stone cold with warm insides
Wrapped in self-hate, liquid fire in my veins
Fumbling to iron out the stains

You can’t cool a feverish obsession
Just want to feel that high low
Addicted to running from rehab
Can’t outrun the shark you owe

I shed my pretty
Let you see the ugly side of me
The problem is now
I can’t hide behind that old reverie

Cast aside like a bad dream
I can’t seem to keep ‘em
They’ll just keep running from me
Because that pretty face has a rotten pedigree

I’m going to watch you drown
I think it was worse then when I clamped down
False hoping like a penny fool junkie
Chin up sweetheart it’s not your crown

Poem For the Deceased

“From dust to dust”, they say
But that only involves the corporeal body
And the stuff we’ve collected over the years
Like books and clothes and houses and cars
And, and, and. . .
These leftovers can be passed from generation to generation
Or from friend to friend
Or just left behind
And they will eventually revert to dust

But
I trust
That the real me
Which thinks and loves;
Cries, and is attracted to all the above stuff
Is not made of dust
And therefore, will not return to dust

Spirit is a tricky thing to define;
To tie down with solid words

We share thoughts
And smiles and kisses and tears

So when I shed this body
The real me will go Beyond
To happily shake off the dust
And rejoin God
And leave behind
Traces of thoughts
And smiles and kisses and tears

I plan to remember you
And I hope
You will remember me
