Praising the power

Thanks, this scribe must say,
Grateful we woke up today,
Let's rise with joyful smiles,
God blesses us across the miles,
Seeking God's wisdom, no less,
Trusting divine plan, no stress,
God, hope we can all still pray,
Guide Earth's city of God someday,
Sent us Jesus, holy preacher,
Holy Spirit, our best teacher,
Grace sparks us, staying alive,
Thanks, God, our faith can thrive,
God loves His mortals anyway,
Even when the flock turn away,,
Praising His power, no need to fret,
Thanking awesome God, our best bet.

Premium MemberOde to a True Poet - Apr 6

O’ Pat Pattison, you, my brilliant teacher,
I would shower in praises, had you not
taught me better! for cliches void of thought
are as worthwhile as a couch surfin’ moocher!

O’ masterful and deepest sort of creature,
shocked then, in the thrall of churning wounds, distraught
I found your grace—and for my breaking clot
you gave me poetry, this soothing suture.

Trochees and iambs, blank verse, Shakespear’s form—
you illuminated a path obscure
to my sight. The subtle rhythms and rhymes
you used as guideposts through a ruthless storm
are now the tools that fix me fast,—secure.
I’d take your class again a million times.

Teach, Joy, and Give Thanks

Our Teacher,

Time,

A unit of measure.

The Spirit,

Lives on forever.

Our Minds,

Always seeking pleasure.

Our Hearts,

Are feeling the pressure.

Our Bodies,

All here together.

Our lives,

Meant to be the treasure.

The Present,

We are It's Creator.

And GOD,

He was the Professor.

JOY

I pledge allegiance to the joy,

Hidden within my heart.

Everything I catch me falling,

Is a chance for a fresh start.

When your feeling low,

Let your heart know,

Just let it all go,

Watch your joy grow.

Give Thanks

Thank you for your beauty,

Thank you for your grace.

Thank you for your wisdom,

?Thank you for your space.

Thank you for the smile on my face,

And the way you created this place.

Thank you for forgiveness,

While running through this race.

Thank you for protecting me,

As I blindly walk with Faith.

Premium MemberTHANKFUL FOR NATURE THE TEACHER

How blessed are we to have nature as our teacher
although her biggest obstacle
which leads to her biggest concern
is how even the greatest teacher cannot teach
those who are unwilling to learn.

Premium MemberTHANKFUL FOR KNOWING WHEN TO TEACH AND WHEN TO LEARN

We are all students and we are all teachers…
Today I’m thankful for being each…
And may I be blessed to always know…
when it’s time to learn
and when it’s time to teach

Premium MemberTHANKFUL THAT WE ARE ALL TEACHER AND STUDENTS

Today I’m thankful that we are all teachers and students in life
The trick being…as we round every turn turn…
Is knowing when to teach
and knowing when to learn.

Jeremy Puma

Just a passerby who wrote some books of wisdom
Enquiring into the Way towards heaven's bright kingdom
Reading ancient steles in a moden day light
Even using Zen as a reading stone for clear insight
Molding a mind and heart union to birth gnosis
You, Puma, showed how Christ and wisdom can guide hypnosis

Poured a river for my mind to be baptised in
Unfolded the Way grounded on earth for us to begin
Made a ladder for me to climb in heaven's light
A wanderer in this iron caged prison deep in night

All I Have To Say Is Thanks

All I have to say is thanks
Through the seasons of life
I say thanks to those that disappointed me
Thanks for your betrayals
Thanks for giving up on me
Thanks for your jealousy
Thanks for your gossip
Thanks for your blockages
Thanks for hatreds
Thanks for your isolation
Thanks for your intimidation
Thanks for your mind set of thief
Thanks for your cheating
Thanks for your exclusion
Thanks for not being there when needed
Life is a beautiful place
And truth be told
You all woke me up

All I have to say is thanks
The seasons of life
Is the biggest teacher of my kind
So I pledge to go with the flow
Hidden in it lessons
And keep moving like am unstoppable
There is nothing to lose
More than life itself
So I don't worry as long as am alive
Am great full for all I have
And never regret what I don't have
Cos it will come in due time
There is nothing I except from you
If I will ask you a favour my friend
That will always be what money cant buy
And if you can't be real
Please let me be
Real recognize real

Thanks To Berlioz

They have found their place,
In offices, administrations, companies,
Now they are proud, beautiful, radiant,
God keep us safe, they are brilliant,
If they can leave me alone,
The circle will be complete; I would not have to fight anymore,
They will continue to shine, to be beautiful,
Whatever they want,
I wouldn’t meet them again,
I prefer to listen to the song of the blackbird.

NB : the last verse is a phrase in a lied by Berlioz
I was a teacher in a previous life, and had to fight hard with these people, i was in the wrong place, at the wrong moment

For hundreds of Moons
Save all the Summers,
You engaged young minds
One youth at a time
Teaching new students.

But that’s not all,
You mentored young
Teachers, with pride.
For many years.

Excellence,
Scholarship,
Legacy.

And now,
Retired.

Thanks!

Thanks Mommy
I was exasperated
It was the same lad
He sees me daily
He surely does not have this many troubles

I said "Unless someone has died, I cannot see you today".
Felt worthless when he said his uncle had died.
Said "Honey, I am sorry. Come right in."
Studied his face solemnly. Was silent. Gave him a chance.

Nothing came forth, so I asked "When did your uncle die?"
We don't know, he told me. We have not found his body yet.
What happened? I queried.
We went to his cabin this weekend, the eight-year-old told me.

We knocked and yelled and hollared.
Uncle Jack was nowhere.
Mommy looked at Gus's water bowl.
She said "See that water bowl?"

"Your uncle must be dead. That dog is never out of water."
I had to control my face, because he was totally serious.
And I now felt like the worst school counselor in the universe.
Thanks Mommy.

Thank You Teacher

Taught us the best
Not only for the test
Things to out life
To make it nice

Taught to be a good child
Without getting things wild
Teacher you are a great person
Who loved us than million dozen

This Teachers Day

Years ago He made a treasure,
For all those who wished to know,
The mysteries of life,
The map of knowledge,
Those who wished to explore,
He gave us a gift undeniable,
For years ago he made a teacher.

Those who live today,
Know for earnest,
That we know the revered,
Chosen from the very best,
For those who wanted to learn,
And know the great good,
For them, years ago, he made a teacher.

This day we can show our joy,
Give our gratitude to all those,
Who like mothers gave us a life,
Who made us know joy,
Who helped us cross through strife,
Because for the world those years ago,
He gave us teacher.

Happy Teacher’s Day
