Taunts Poems - Poems about Taunts

HER SILENT TAUNTS

She wakes up in the morning with a bright smile,
Not knowing what sleep is - just a word spoken around.
So many voices echo in her ears saying "end it all,"
Fighting battles sometimes she can't even recall.
She will always be more than enough,
Even when things get tough.

Socialising is her greatest enemy,
Leaps through storms just to find
...

Premium MemberDeviant Taunts

Upon the horizon darkness loomed
mocking the shadows in my heart
Love was doomed, dismally abused
Emotions bleeding out
Have I succumbed to malaise and died
If there's a faint pulse
I have no notion
of a vortex if one is whirling

There's a windstorm's fury howling
somewhere in the distance,
an angry thunder is roaring back,
mimicking the zephyr's bullied shout
revealing the deviant

Premium MemberWinter Taunts

Winter taunts with his sunset
   blushing the underside of clouds
with colors of Spring blossom pinks
   stretched across the waning sky.

Painted as with an artist’s
   expert brush
teasing my soul
   languishing in yearning
   for the breath

Premium MemberGod Made Him That Way

"Here comes trouble" some people said,
just because his hair was red..
He saw he was different with his bright,
red mane but knew on the inside he was
likely the same..
Most days he just stood there and smiled
as they chanted "you redheaded step child".
At times he was wounded by their troubling taunts,
their teasing echoed in his head, like

Spring Taunts

Brief respite lapsed,
Gray day too harsh
To venture out
As noontime last
When sidewalks teemed
With jacketless grins
And one pert, lithe runner
Of vernal youth
Flashed her bare palm
In friendly passing …

Now, through fogged pane,
I downheartedly watch
Three daffodils bob
Canary heads
Against this onrush
Of chill wet air:

Spring taunts winter’s
Doomed oppression.

Pretty, tawny, tabby Tabor
purring snuggler,
full of curiosity and play
He saw the door ajar for a fast getaway
His golden eyes gleamed
Jail break; as he dreamed

Ditching out as fast as a jet
The backyard pond he couldn’t forget
full of lily pads and Koi. ”Oh, what fun!”
Sneaky pitter-patter paws sly as a cat

LOVE TAUNTS ME

WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES AND REFLECT ON THE PAST, WHERE IT WAS JUST YOU AND ME,KNOWING THAT THE CHOICE I MADE AT THAT INSTANT MEANT SPENDING EVERYDAY WITH A HOLE IN MY HEART,
A HOLE ,THAT I SPENT YEARS TRYING TO MEND, TRING TO FILL, AND THE MEMORIES I TRIED

Taunts

Eyes wide open.
Mocking you with all my taunts,
Learing you in,
Just to snatch back what you took from me.
Laughing as you come so easily,
Smiling under my disbelief.
Hiding my evil,
Revieling my love.
That yet seems to be another lie,
Taunts,
Sending vibes to your heart.
Making it stop,
Just to lift my chin,
And stomp on your grave.
Smitten your precense,
Send you away.
Just as

Death Taunts Me

My Guardian Angels wings have snapped
He says "It's just a small defect."
So, as Death taunts me
I will stand desolate.

When He comes to my door,
No knocking will sound,
Instead you'll hear laughter
And I'm left confound.

Any dignity I had left
Was stripped down and buried
This conniving theft
Took all of my belongings.

I'm fragile like crystallized glass
With a thousand
