SYRIANS MADE A MISTAKE

Peacefully they had marched on
Voices raised, not fists
Pleading for freedom,
For a chance to breathe without fear.

But what truly is freedom?
Is it worth twelve million displaced souls
Cities leveled into dust
And dreams buried beneath rubble?

What began as peaceful
Became a wound the world blinked past
Sores etched into memory
Scars broadcast, then forgotten.

The headlines have moved on
But the grief remains
Mothers still hold pictures
Fathers still dig with bare hands.

We all say we want peace
But does peace bloom from war
Or from compassion that costs us nothing?
Why must love be so rare it becomes rebellion?

The Middle East

The Middle East

When the persecuted became persecutors
chaos followed; what a mess the Middle East is
Both sides of the conflict like killing one other
up pops more fanatics with eager knives
If you are an Arab Christian, your life is short
if you are a Muslim, they will give you the key
to London and the neighboring locals
Is there such a being as a Christian Jew?
There are Orthodox Jews, men with braided
hair, wearing black hats and dark suits
round glasses make them look scholarly
Their women stay in the background when
on their back, giving birth to yet another
anti-war Jew
In Syria, Assad has fled, prisons are emptying
people are jubilant, but hang on, prisons will
be full again of the new regime's enemies
I read, but can it be true, that the Saudis are the Jews
of antiquity; one can say they love money
and kill their opponents, whether in an embassy
or in a café eating lamb chops
In the meantime, we ask ourselves, will Syria be
Afghanistan, where women get beaten for showing
not a leg, but a pale face of suffering
All is not lost,
the Syrians in Sweden and Germany
are heading back to their homeland
For S and G, a burden lifted

Premium MemberAdvanced Degree In Plagiarism From Tromp University

These days, the most sought out advanced degree
In Extreme Higher Education is in Plagiarism.
A student can also minor in Overt Racism,
Sexism, Misogyny, Stupidity, and Bigotry.
Help wanted signs will be posted in January,
On every freaking corners in Washington D.C.;
Muslims, Mexicans, Syrians and minorities'
Applications will not be accepted. Senior citizens
Can apply unless they voted in the last two elections.
The reason for the change in rules and policies
Is to NOT 'Make America Great Again'.
Only Europeans and Aryans can apply for political asylum.
The Statue of Liberty will be returned to Marine Le Pen.
More pamphlets will be distributed at the next symposium.

Beat the Drums

Beat the drums; aye, beat the drums!
Make them go stark raving mad—
These likes of Emperor Jones. 1

The criminals' courts play house.
Adzes don't cut their own tails. 2
Where are Clinton, Bush, and Trump? 3

'We' are the people, the mob. 4
'We' are judges; 'we' punish.
They should be ripped limb from limb.

Peaceful rallies will not do.
The criminals we'll tear up
On the streets across the globe.

Over!

Fifty years ago today
     an attack was well underway
     On Yom Kippur, October 6
       Israel was in a fix

     Egypt had invaded the Sinai
Syrians climbed down the Golan Heights
     Arabs sought to recapture land
which they regarded as theirs 'by rights'

Three weeks later, Israel was up off her heels
at the gates of Cairo and Damascus
troops ready to seal the deal

But the US said No! Israel had to go
back to the preexisting status quo

2,400 died in defense of their nation
as Israel began to grow impatient
with their supposed Allies in the West

When on your holiest day, your enemies attack
Why should you give what you captured back

     ______________________________________
The 2,412 soldiers who died comprised 1% of
     Israel's Jewish population in 1973. A comparable
figure would be 300,000 American soldiers dying
     in a four-week war in 1973.

To Turkish and Syrians

The world is shocked with a tragedy that has claimed too many lives
In Syria and Turkey, the ground shook with strife
Desperate souls left in its wake
A dad's hand touching that of his daughter, too late

We feel the pain of those who have lost loved ones
Their hearts heavy, weighed down with the burden
We send our thoughts to those in despair
And show appreciation to those who show kindness and care

By helping the victims, they make the world a better place
Even in times of darkness, they bring a smile to someone's face
We spread love to the people of Syria and Turkey
And to all those who stand up for humanity.

If Ben-Gvir is a terrorist
    What is Bashar Assad?
  Whose hands are stained red
     from spilling fellow Syrians' blood

  If Ben-Gvir is a terrorist
    What is Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah?
Whose 'soldiers' use children as shields
    Those 'brave men' of Hezbollah

  If Ben-Gvir is a terrorist
    What is Vladimir Putin?
Who bombs water mains and utilities
Nothing left for Kiev to ration

  If Ben-Gvir is a terrorist
    What is Mahmoud Abbas?
Who lavishes rewards on 'freedom fighters'
    for dynamiting packed Israeli buses...

Ben-Gvir is a force for law and order
in a region overrun by anarchy and terror
  So, he's tough and no-nonsense

Syria My Lovely

Syria, my lovely

Asma al-Assad, the wife of the president in Syria
her crime is to be married to Bashir al- Assad.
Since the president of Syria is sitting pretty, they had to find a softer target hence his wife.
Hadn´t she defended the Syrian army, said they were brave
they must be after ten years of war?
Remove her British citizenship, and we shiver by the thought.
There was an insurrection, and it was crushed.
It could have stopped there if the west had not meddled and
American bombs terrorized the civilian population.
This endless war many Syrians fled, who can blame them?
NATO, too, got involved, this dangerous beast full of generals looking for a fight.
any action, as long it has a pre-fix, “democracy.”
Assad´s chemical attack on the civilian population, surely a war crime.
A Canadian reporter said it didn´t happen, it staged by the white helmets, and no one was reported dead.
The lady reporter had upset the narrative, was sent home in disgrace and now covers handball matches in Seven Rivers.
I Denmark they are sending the Syrians back they say it is safe, they will be safe if the west will stop interfering

Democracy For Everyone

Democracy for everyone

The democratic party is in power now
and Trump, for all his flaws, didn´t want a war in the middle east
he sent many soldiers´ home.
The new President Joe Biden sent them back to Iraq
he has an issue with Syria.
There was a revolt many years ago that with the help of the CIA
developed to a civil war, and bombed fell, killing thousands.
A War the USA lost, and the failures on the ground turned into ISIS
and nearly won if it was not for the Russians and Iran,
who pulverized the murderous thugs?
Under the sainted Obama, there were many wars, (Libya) springs to mind)
Joe Biden wants one too, the sight is on Syria bringing Democracy whether
the Syrians like it or not.
Since Joe Biden is an old man and soon will die, he should think
of the Palestinians
so, he can meet his maker with a clear conscience.

When It Rains

When it rains in the state of Georgia

When I look at the USA
and the leadership of her people
I understand why so man fled Europe to settle in a country, not theirs
so, what Israel does today is nothing new.
It has like the USA has become a fascist state hoisting the banner of democracy.
We are still free to criticise America or Australia who still has the mindset
of former prisoners.
We can be critical of Sweden that has surrounded their country
to an uneducated mass of Pakistani.
The well educated Syrians usually leave Sweden when the thing in their county
get more peaceful.
Jordan must stop the Jordan valley which Israel thinks of occupying
that can go in there protect the land.
President Abbas of Palestine is a stooge for Israel. He will do anything as long
as he is called president-

Refugees

you call us refugees
how dare you
we're your casualties
we're running from your hells
how come it never rang you conscious bells
we're the Syrians ,we're the Yemenis
we know beards and burqas it's strange
strange as your drones and the bravery of being out of range
you'll never know what we've been through
trying to get to you
to tell you what GI Joe and his cronies do
you see we thought we're all humans
forgot you were silent when the japs tasted Truman
we don't want your jobs
after all we're not Samsung and Steve jobs
why are you avoiding our eyes
do you buy your MSM and it's lies
we're guilty of having oil under our feet
for you it's pipelines
for us it's bloodlines
you've been fluoridated
we're being eradicated
you and your deafening silence

A Prophet Called

https://m.soundcloud.com/user-921599710/a-prophet-called

Strong Syrians at war against the Israelites
Yet followed a period of peace
Though no threat was posed, an enemy arose, from a foreign land
Fear drew in, the Assyrian king, was set to conquer all
Armies assembled from the border-land
O’ Ninevah city, a promised place
Radical residence of idol worshippers
Servers not of the living God, of what would become
A change of ways, lest they be destroyed
A chosen prophet foreseeable and called
A request to Jonah, awake the city
Of mercy and pity, to repent of their sins
Journey to Ninevah, look to the east
Actions opposed, a sail to the west, unaware of God’s test
An intention to hide, full of pride, he fell asleep
Yet on the ship, with sailors equipped, a storm arose
Wallowing winds, a stormy sea, a presumptuous plea
A cast of lots, on Jonah fell
Storm was sent on his account
Duly dashed into the sea, right into the belly of a fish was he
Three days and nights, afore dry land
Go tell the people of Ninevah
Preach the message, be undeterred

Devil Incarnate

It was a spark that lit the freedom path!
Young boys and girls broke out in wrath!
They wrote on walls what once was a dream.
“People want to overthrow this rotten regime”
Soon the police captured these tiny creatures,
And put them through all sorts of tortures
Their folks condemned their brutal cruelty.
And hit the streets demanding justice and equity.
Instead, police and troops fired with all disdain.
They shot them with bullets like torrential rain!
It was a horrible sight in a series of war crimes!
Assad has been committing a million times!!
For six long years he’s left no stone unturned!
He’s used all weapons, permitted and banned!
Bullets, rockets, barrels and chemical gases.
Syrians still wonder, “where are the masses?”
“Why don’t they raise a finger to help us?”
“Are they busy capitalizing on our loss?”
They hear a voice coming from far,
Saying something they find bizarre,
“Human rights and UN organizations,
Have all been lies and fabrications.”

Hectic Day

Hectic day

An eventful day this Saturday
A man is shot to death at Orly airport
clearly out of his mind and France is under
lock down; the hysteria is taking hold
a laptop in a car was stolen it sensitive
information or perhaps not
a man tries to climb the fence at the White House
and there is blood on the carpet
those on duty should have known and not eat
doughnuts when looking at the security screen
dogs and men are prowling the lawn outside
they must be seen doing something
one can say this have been a day of a none –event
and Mosul it is a side show.
At Fox News, long legged girls- with Botox faces- blame
the Chinese, Trump`s pet hate.
The French were not sure who to blame think
the mayhem might have been caused by Iran or
the Germans for taking in too many Syrians.
And over us like Damocles` sword….Trump telling
us all will be fantastic and work for everyone.

Premium MemberBleeding Damascus

A dirge for the ancient and modern
   city.
Damascus a lamentations of the
   blood spilling;
Of the blood of the dying crying
'avenge me' like Abel of old.
Of orphaned children lost in the
   war of adults.

The wounds of Damascus are so
  grievous that has defied
      all treatments.
Swallowing its young generation
   etched in hatred and
      vengeance;
Of ideologies that consume the
   very soul of Syrians

This is a lamentation for the wasted
   generation, of a gap
      deleted forever.
The city of Paul's crusades and
   conversion.
Of foundations of a hundred
   generations.
Damascus ancient and modern
   on the brink.
