Premium MemberDynamism Starts At Dawn

A grasshopper sitting on feral flower at my garden.
Me watching peacefully lying supine on my lawn
A chameleon attacks and swallows all on a sudden
Cheerful chirping of flock of sterlings at dawn.
Sweet tweets of dancing sparrows at sunlit morn.

Shy snail to walk slow stepping on its single foot
Song bird cuckoo calling mate with tone, musical.
Pet rabbit with chewing habit, biting grass shoot.
Swift squirrel climbing stem up and down, whimsical
Kittens , puppies playing merrily, typical.

Eagle, kites soaring high on cerulean sky trying to dive
Butterflies fluttering wings sipping nectar in thrill
Nature's programs running dynamic, show is live.
Dynamism all around ! Each in zest and zeal.
Daily Show of animal world ! Oblivious to appeal.

Premium MemberHaibun Heaven or Hell

At early dawn, me lying supine on my non - mowed lawn in happy mood.
I am relaxing under bright Sun and clean clear cerulean sky enjoying
morning beauty of environ. Cheerful sparrows and sterlings to chirp
and prance. Morning dews are glistening on wild glass blades. Swift
squirrel is climbing up and coming down. Slow snail is crawling silent with
single foot. In gentle breeze, tiny feral flowers are nodding heads in fun.

Everything is running smooth and fine in fresh morning.
Fluttering wings flying butterflies are visiting blossoms. Cute kittens are
playing joyfully at a corner. I am sensing serene sublime ecstatic state.
Suddenly a grass hopper settles on tip of grass. A prompt chameleon
doesn’t miss the chance to attack and swallows up. My heavenly bliss at
once turns in melancholy sinking in hell.

    nature acts ruthless ~
      prey and predator to run
           simultaneous.

I Know A Place

I know a place in the rural sector,
            close to the bye-pass connector.
five fulvous furrowed fields, each one hectare
           measured accurate with tape-protractor,
owned by peasant of rustic character.

Wild weeds yield tiny blooms with sweet nectar.
Dawn dews on grass shine in Sun’s projector.
Happy grasshopper hops : Vibrant vector.
Sparrows- Sterlings chirping : Frolic factor.
Farmer feels free to drive modern tractor.
Ripen crops are taken by collector.

Farmer is developing agriculture on devotion.
He uses the modern system of drip irrigation.
Water wastage arrested on least water consumption.
I know a place where runs ideal cultivation
           honouring utmost Nature’s contribution.

The Gardner With the Army Cap

Across my street with sidewalks
shaded by fluttering oak trees,
there's a gardener with the army cap...
while rascals laugh and play nasty rap;
how well tends to his garden without weeds,
how glad he is when neighbors clap,
and he works serenely in this noiseless haven!
Then, Sterlings with colorful wings swap down
to steal his lavenders, he chases them away
with a voice that frightens playful squirrels:
" Leave them alone, let the buzzing bees
turn their mild nectar into sweet honey! "

In the middle of April he wears old camouflaged shorts,
he's amused by a passerby who flashes admiring looks;
" Good morning, Pete: your garden is too pretty! "
" Thank you, John: it makes me proud and happy! "

Each charming flower in his garden has a beauty of its own,
"Ah, youth is a beautiful flower but withers with time! "
He exclaims shedding tears that sunlight makes sparkle,
he has lived a full life and his adventurous days darkle,
and finding something to do boosts his esteem, he feels fine;
do regrets ever embitter him remembering his wife Sharon?

  Chirping sterlings-sparrows : Swift, spry.

AUBURN AUTUMN

        Auburn Autumn assuring azure sky.
        Festival on completion of harvest.
Leaves leave deciduous trees, being dry.
Nascent foliage in luster at best.

      Festival on completion of harvest.
Rufus vibrant Autumn to glow and glaze.
Nascent foliage in luster at best.
On blossoms shimmering Sun reflecting rays.

Rufus vibrant Autumn to glow and glaze.
Grasshoppers are greeted by glossy grass.
Bees butterflies flying frolic in sunny days.
Sparrows and sterlings are chirping in mass.

Grasshoppers are greeted by glossy grass.
Open outdoor romance lovers to try
Better than drinking desires in wine glass.
       Auburn Autumn assuring azure sky.

Premium MemberThe Lady and Her Birds Friends

Everyone knew her as Lady Summerworth,
A title she had assumed from mother earth.
She was rich, did what she liked, spoke to no one.
She'd have her breakfast and left when she was done.
Then she would walk slowly to the far garden,
If she would forget the birdseed, beg pardon.

It was her delight to scatter crumbs and seeds.
Sterlings, chaffinches, thrush and blackbirds each feeds
Until they were well-fed with the fare she gave.
Oft she claimed: was she the Lady or the slave?

The nursing home clanged its bell. She went for lunch,
Alas, a heavy rain drenched her like a punch.
She spent many days with an ugly bad cold.
She was old now more than seventy years old.
Yet every day was visited by her friends
All the birds came until the lady's life ends.

Tvhead

You are a child of TV's lies
with pound sterlings in your eyes.
Your instant coffee gets you wired,
you are a slave to your desires.

Corrupted by your sense of greed
you pile up crap that you don't need.
Consume your way to fill the void,
replace the values life destroyed.

Fake tan, fake smile, and your fake friends -
don't you just love the modern trends?
Salvation comes in powdered form:
another line and you're reborn.

Your brand new skin's designer chic.
Your top is bright, your eyes are bleak.
Your hollow neon backdropped dreams
will set the scene for midnight screams.
