Mars Statute

A death of shadow courses
curtain mars red

Bedded in Apollo moon rock
ex stock mission over

In search of life we left behind
when we left this desolate planet
behind for good

To move onto and resettle we
those remaining to fresh earth

For cleaner air and drinking water

A place for future generation to
prosper

A new world for a new start
where we can right our wrong

The Statute of Limitations Has Run Out

By Elton Camp

Most have things in their past
That present life could blast

Whose life’s an open book
So to welcome a close look?

We hope none will ever learn
Things our name could burn

What we did way back when
And wouldn’t ever do again

Such acts and thoughts as those
That we think nobody knows

Some claim such they didn’t do,
They lie about other things too

But the time limit has run out
About such long ago, no doubt

While back then, evil I did do
I’m too old to make any new

Legacy's Statute of Limitation

My life contains painful memories,
failures, sickness, deaths, and fears.
understand, life comes from God's hand -
bad things work to my good through the years.

I've also had great recollections,
happy childhood, marriage, work.
Life comes from God's hand, I understand
my good health and the land of my birth.

Being designed to do special tasks -
my talents to help, to teach.
I understand, life comes from God's hand;
and there are goals that I may not reach.

Amid the war and peace, self-control
enables me to rejoice.
Life comes from God's hand, I understand
distrust and doubt with faith and free choice.

I celebrate what's put on my plate
knowing forgiveness and grace.
I understand life comes from God’s hand
The mercy of God’s love I embrace.

My assets and liabilities
The bound’ry lines have been scored.
Life comes from God’s hand, I understand
the legacy's received from my Lord.

No Statute of Limitations

I wonder how law
Comes in to play
We plead insanity
Lesser charges on the way

We are all insane
Each having our own little quirks
So, that brings me to wonder
If the Statute of Limitation works

I'm limited in thought sometimes
Vision has limited view
Limited in strength day after day
Patience has limits too

Is there a law that
That can prevent these Limitations
No. That's why we have so many
Burials and cremations.
