Pressing, pushing past the threshold
Beyond your once imagined line
Till you fear you'll fold
And that you'll fall behind
You have hidden reserves untold
Tests and trials you'll find
They will help us know
Strength to break any bind
And our spirits will grow
Climbing high like the hind
So let the pressure flow
Knowing we'll stand just fine
His strength on us bestow
And trouble of any kind
Will never bring us low

Never fear when your truth is blamed
Fear when your wrong is justified
No matter how deep the truth will submerged
Truth will find a way to show up to the surface
Don't do it to others what not to do to yourself
Don't be proud to be good at turning the story upside down
Because one day your fakeness will be revealed
Don't say a word for revenge
Hopefully help your heart to cover with feeling
Guilt and restless every time you do not do good.

To Those Who Stand in the Flame
Your sweat and tears
are felt in the quiet spaces—
we see how you toil where
the air burns, heavy with ghosts,
how strangers rise in the
name of saving.
Hands and hearts steady,
bearing the weight of devastation—
through these gutting days,
we owe the stars to you.
-
This poem honors the brave souls—firefighters, neighbors, and kind strangers—who have faced the flames with unyielding resolve. In a city shrouded by smoke, you have become the light, carrying hope and humanity through the ash-strewn days. Your courage and care remind us that even in destruction, there is a quiet force that holds us together.

I STAND IN HOPE--
Resilience in spite of challenges and difficulties
Unwavering spirit not dawning darkness on my light
Deeper sustains my radiance I stand in hope

God's instructions are simple enough
asking that we would just obey
knowing the Lord has our best at heart
trust His words all of the way
God says go and stand, so simple
right on the mountain to be seen
a lesson to be under His word of truth
every week shows you're truly keen
Being casual in your approach
God's blessing will be a miss
so make the Lord first priority
then His presence you'll relish
The Lord is about to pass by
as you stand upon the mountain
there you'll meet His very presence
drinking at the eternal fountain
Be in your place of holy worship
giving to God your sacrifice of praise
be holy humble and pure in heart
bring to Him exaltation to raise
(“Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by.)
1 Kings 19: 11a

There're a lot of
Strange, funny and weird stories
It's common to be employed as a stuntman in acting
But not to be employed for something evils
But not to be employed as a scapegoat
Maybe a ghost is looking for a substitute
But it's certainly ridiculous
To look for a stand-in for sickness
To look for a stuntman for your fate
Similarly, never take for granted
Never ask for a stuntman in your prayer
Because God has had been a "stuntman"
To die for all mankind on the cross
Didn't you remember
So don't ask for a "stuntman" any more
So don't blame God any more

when you hit rock bottom "STAND"
Because your true foundation IS
Not rock, granite, nor sand, it’s Jesus- HALEHUJAH AND

When you rise above the storm
Your enemies will not like it
Thai’s fine; don’t decline your purpose
Tell your enemies to stand in line
They will never stop your shine!
If circumstances knock you off your horse
And your enemies try to change your course
Keep riding, keep pushing on!
Life moves forward in the face of your enemies
When you rise above the storm is the perfect remedy
It should not be a surprise
You were born for a purpose
If circumstances knock you off your horse
And your enemies try to change your course
Keep riding, keep pushing on, keep rising

A simple touch,
A kiss,
Raw, beautiful, passionate,
A message,
One after another,
Learning, laughing, having,
Love, passionately made
More than I should have,
Too much,
I’m falling,
I feel it in every beat of my heart,
Waiting for the moment you pull away
Finding someone better,
The kisses less frequent,
The raw beauty of whatever built,
Destroyed between us,
The messages slow,
My replies stand,
Yours never seen again,
A stand in,
All I will ever be until you’re ready

1974, Newton, Iowa in the summer
free band concert
music director stands at pavilion
guiding hands rev up the troops
They are seventh and eight graders
We, their captive audience, are related
no one else would surely be here
Hold up! There is Old Mr. Dodggery.
He drags a green lawn chair up and sits beside the pavilion.
His toothless smile urging them on.
They play their hearts out.
We clap politely.
Sam Elison cheers loudly; probably drunk
Even though the noon sun has not yet arrived.
Newton, Iowa in July.
Same time next year? At the pavilion?

awesome beauty stands
glimmering tarnished knot in the
eyes of no man heart
~
yet hugs in spirit
congested it with thoughts of physics
spoils the purities
~
soul drenched in just lust
of spiritualities
tainted and combust
~
fair thee wroth it is
about me not about us
I've come to the wrong
~
I lay my selfish
burning down please forgive me
spiritual beauty

After hope is gone
there yet still hoping God
tired and influence lost a job
bill collectors calling don't care
you stare at the walls
about to be evicted someone calls
but your phone's been turned off in the middle of the fall
conversation do you stand in distraught
In the Mystic nation divided and Discord
blood running from your body to the floor
infectious misusage what is this thing called the Constitution at last and my first and last breath
I put no trust in man
for the real plan here I stand
in God's unchanging hands
for despite our adversities
I stand in his liberties

Where do I Go For Love Nowhere I Just Stand in the Presence of God
Where do I go for love?
I call, on the Lord
Where do I go for love?
I stand for the Lord God
And I wait I'm a witness
God has kissed on my lips
He's given me the breath of life
He's the love of my life
I am His wife
...so if you too want to be loved
just standstill
listen awaiting God embracing you
Where do I Go For Love Nowhere I Just Stand in the Presence of God

M-orning tenth February
I-s beautiful and fresh;
A-nother dawn has broken, dusk and twilight vanish.
N-ew light early Friday
A-ims to warm your heart;
V-ile weather disappears,
A-s the raindrops depart.
R-ising sun has come out,
R-eplacing the night of sorrow;
O-pen your life to beacon, as you stand in the shadow.
