Voracious engine's enthuse easily enchants
Large car cast dispelled by lacklustre Calais
Original conjur 370Z parked beside boring
Low leg swing exclusive slide in, magic valet
Over revved start stabs adrenalin assuring
Our dear Dara, choice contacted in December
Available last minute to test drive his beast
Black gloss road boss, enlarged 'lungs' terror
Capable crazy bitumen baby, tester pleased
Ultimate Man concurs, the amenable outcome
Keys in her hand a few days after, aura froze
Couldn't imagine huge generosity from anyone
Racing car reap, increase on what she sows
Merry go round roads, another showoff slotted
Silver pole stabilised glides in Surfers cycle
Crosslane carousel onlookers, briefly besotted
By hot hoof nimble Nissan race horse style

Too Great of a Man
Earth life, a hard school, dark desire cesspool,
Senses externalised, all objects sized,
No wonder then, we behave like a fool,
Truth dawns, when by Holy Spirit baptised.
Ego controls thoughts, so we’re ill-advised,
Body hormones rule, our instincts cruel,
Bemused by illusions, fleeting goals prized,
Earth life, a hard school, dark desire cesspool.
All hope seems lost, feral lust’s our fuel,
Though conscience speaks, as God Himself disguised,
We heed Him not, behaving like a ghoul,
Senses externalised, all objects sized.
Hypnotised by thoughts, our soul’s paralysed,
Chasing rainbows, we continue to drool,
Game of shadows leaves us demoralised,
No wonder then, we behave like a fool.
Discerning cause of pain, as pulse dual,
We cease thought flow, that ego’s vaporised,
Thoughts reassigned to their role as a tool,
Truth dawns, when by Holy Spirit baptised.
In timeless time, God within’s realised,
Heart lotus blooms, revealing soul’s jewel,
In-form polarities are stabilised,
Our free will’s liberated for self-rule,
Earth life, a hard school.

A RONDEAU REDOUBLE POEM Poetry Contest

in the beginning, we may say
we dwelt in stupor of separation
awareness dulled, driven by desire
oblivious to the vibrancy of bliss elation
senses externalised, thoughts blocking surprise
somewhere we lost our childlike spontaneity
enmeshed thus in a web of our making
boon became bane, joy the fatality
upon reaching the point of exhaustion
we froze flow of thought, entering stillness
our attention internalised in the void of silence
we felt strange stirrings within of ineffable joyfulness
stretching the time continuum to deepen feeling
we melded therein by softening attention
dormant nodes within awakened
purring in blissful joy elation
we assign to our bliss no label
as the energy divine stabilised within
central funnel from root to crown radiant
cave within heart renewing throb of bliss ignition
the happening both fortuitous and miraculous
wherein our presence was but a receptor
marked not end but a new beginning
unveiling unknown bliss vectors
with lower mind vaporised
oneness recognised as vibration
sublime fragrance accompanying bliss
soft divine light white sporadic manifestation

In stillness we recognise
That the kundalini rise
To which we were sentient
Was a passing event
The energy stabilised
Magnetic illumination realised
Within the Sushumna
Centred at the Anahata
Celebrated at the Sahasrara
Indeed a divine enigma
And yet
We do regret
Having rested on our laurels
Transfixed by the miracle
For the pranic force
Is the kundalini coarse
There being layers more subtle
Upon which we must get a handle
Kundalini of Atma
And finally of Paramatma
