Corpses May Stay Long At Mortuary

Can’t a rich corpse remain in a fridge
While the bereaved have gaps to still bridge?
The outrage that descends on faces
Varies with minds, background and races,
Deferment of interment a choice;
On the subject it can’t be one voice...

God had carried it out with Moses:
St. Jude Verse 9 of the matter closes,
Satan with Michael contesting corpse
Not perturbed by what from challenge drops
Until he got “The Lord Rebuke thee!
And he just had enough time to flee…

Corpse may stay long in mortuary,
Paid printers to hold obituary;
We aren’t the thing tormenting with ice:
Just buying time for guests’ meat-filled rice…

St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
Miracle Man

St Jude’s is a place that’s dear to my heart,
I believe it all started back in eighty-three.
God showed me how I could have a small part,
in helping young children become carefree.

Those laboring at St. Jude are united by aim,
to save children’s lives, giving them a chance.
Though I’ll never call one child by first name,
my own life moments have fortified my stance.

When life is dawning, St. Jude wants no child dying,
and families show gratitude for healing and hope.
So this morning, St. Jude, is my thoughts occupying,
they help drowning families by throwing them a rope.

Those supporting St. Jude are joined at the heart.

God's People

I can see myself looking through the mirrored glass
I can feel the pain with every breath
Somebody says, your life is down the street
I turn around and I see
Everything makes sense
Now it connects with our spirit
I can feel God's hand
touching mine
Through times, I have my highs and I get my share of lows
I wonder if I'll ever make it
Wishing I could follow in the saint's footsteps
St. Jude, I pray to you
You are the forgotten one
And I had to say all my goodbye's
So I know you understand
St. Anthony, you are the finder of lost things
Help me find the good in everyone
Help me find God
St. Anthony, there are many times I think of you
St. Mary The Mother of God
Your eyes are full of love
Teach me what it means
Thanks for pulling me through
And I dedicate the rosary to you
Jesus, You are the best example of a man
You are everything to everybody
Guide me to be a part of you
Jesus, I look up to you
And with my burning heart
I think of you
And I pray, dedicate, and love you all
God's people.

Brexit Sonnet 40 - Country V Party

Brexit Sonnet No. 40
‘Country v Party’

So what’s the choice with PMs Brexit things?
On one side party stands and makes its claims,
On other, country pulls rich encoded strings,
Whilst others, waiting, fan the vicious flames.
A hopeless cause, St Jude must wryly smile
And stifle secret chuckle at mounting gloom.
Our Country left to rot on poisoned pile
Whilst party, its new and old adherents groom.
To destroy her Party, this could never be,
So hold tight, lifeboats on their davits swing,
Made ready for the rich and taxéd free,
As Country sinks below these waves of sin.
Country v Party, an uneven useless bout,
Renew, Remain and wipe these Maybugs out.

Summer Snowman

note: St. Jude is the patron saint of hopeless causes

Didja ever feel like a summer snowman?
Out of luck, living on borrowed time,
constructed from leftovers sentimentally
stored, given birth because Mom decided
to clean out the freezer.
And so, into existence, doomed from the start;
a pointless life lived for the amusement
of others, spent wearing black after Memorial Day
and wool in July, mouthing prayers to St Jude even
as the good saint's boss overrules and the
sun moves into position overhead.
