Springboard

The lone reed bows low
Under insuffrable weight
the raven springs forth

Sword of Mischief Is Ready

Nick's sword of mischief is ready,
The thrusts to be ever steady
For those he is sure are heady,
Now controllable, soon an eddy...

Nick's challengers need steely sword,
Until they accept a Made Lord,
Palm wine has failed with its swell gourd;
No one has ever pleased a horde.

Nick shall reached throats slash with his sword,
Now it's without doubt the Spring Board
For proclaiming himself First Lord
His sword at the back of his Ford...

Too bad for who'd lived in Oxford
And his English Last Name: Clifford.

Suffering As a Springboard

Preparing The Lips for repeated groans
And The Heart for as many moans,
Left long in it one’s contacting phone:
“To whom it concerns I’m pitiably alone!”

Suffering never was a stepping stone
To our Remote-Controlled Throne,
For all its merits steadily overblown
And at Non-sufferers readily thrown …

Some bit Suffering releases in The Grown
With the doggedness he’d sown:
The often insupportable lighter,
The Rather Darker, Much Brighter
Tasked legs that no longer totter
A furnace now cooler that was hotter.

Still, The Never Ceasing Suffering
Keeps Singular Pain Offering
And as a spring board
The Regionally Broad.
Faster advancing The Dish-Washing American
Than A Nigerian Mover of filled Jerry can.

Premium MemberMind-Body Springboard

Both bound and free, encased in mind-body,
confined using senses looking outward,
wherein ego feels it is somebody,
separate from source, till we look inward,
negating feral cravings untoward,
whereupon our emptiness’s magnetised,
thought flow rested, nothing is weighed or sized,
enabling love to enliven our form,
that in timeless time, God is realised;
transfigured thus, by a benign bliss storm.

Premium MemberBlue Springboard In My Kitchen

A blue springboard in my kitchen,
A pink parachute in the bath.
I keep my parents guessing
Oddities stir my daddy’s wrath.

My total lack of normalcy
And my goat hat with the horns
Keeps them from regular visits
Giving me many peaceful morns.

Premium MemberGods Springboard

Verdant green unfolds.
     Buds that star my eyes.
         Wings around me sing.
            I crave Spring’s tweeting.
                Its flow’ry sweeting.

                     Springs daffodils,
                           black-eyed susans,
                                painted roses,
                            plumerias.

                           Vivid hues —
                       merciful,
              kindhearted,

        invoke...
   inspire...

love.

Mermaid

Down from the spring board,
Through the air,
falling free with total peace,
Diving down deep under water.

Eyes sparkle and shine,
To see loads of bubbles around.

Swirling and twirling,
I pop up from the water.
To feel the driving rain,
And to see beautiful parrots hover.

To be in the water, is such a great fun.
A mermaid in a pond, who never wants to return.

Springboard

I like to think that my thoughts are fresh
I imagine these items are mine solely

I decide this through the rummage process when
I know I am not choosing such a novel revolutionary ideology

When everyone else feels it

We all work within cycles expressing

The energies allowed within and
The eruptions of consciousness
Moving outwardly

You have felt this too
Many times my friend

We sit upon the platform of reminiscence
As we also jump upon the springboard of our dreams
