Blue Springboard In My Kitchen

A blue springboard in my kitchen,
A pink parachute in the bath.
I keep my parents guessing
Oddities stir my daddy’s wrath.

My total lack of normalcy
And my goat hat with the horns
Keeps them from regular visits
Giving me many peaceful morns.

For sure, be your lovable, independent self. It makes for great poetry, no small task. Joe.

Lol. That keeps them from visiting on a regular? I sure in the back of their minds they know. Well written

I am sure they do but do I care? No. I do not.

So, this sounds like something my daughter would do! She was always sort of wacked out. But, the parachute in the bath??????

Nothing against it. Just pretty weird if you ask me. Parachutes are for jumping!!!

I love it when a poem has considerable impact, and especially when it is delivered using brevity. ... CayCay
