Spring Time Sniffles
I feel a tickle in my nose and then,
my eyes begin to itch and so I know.
A bout of my hay fever will begin,
Not long before my nose I’ll have to blow.
Spring for me most times will bring no joy,
For weeks with windows closed I’ll spend my days.
To keep the pollen out, this quest employ
And sniff and snort all kinds of nasal sprays.
And yet, I’ll watch the new buds on the trees,
And marvel at the coloured changing Spring.
And if I venture out, and hear the bees
Be mindful if disturbed that they may sting.
However, Spring will end the Winter’s cold,
And warm the earth so Summer can take hold.

An escape from the congested world
Of routine or great expectations
The waterfall becomes
An outstanding landmark
To our eyes and our souls
The waterfall rushes down
From the heaven
A symbol of
Vigour and life
Confidence
Determination
Perseverance
And truths
It splashes to form
Pearly sprays and circling ripples
It gives hopes
To the hearts and the souls
Of nature lovers and philosophers
Summer Sprays and Spews
Summer sprays upon the subtle sands
As the rainbows rally in their halo hues
And lovers loving holding hopeful hands
For nature nurtures a nestled canty cue
For the rains rejoice as they splashily spill
As the valleys bow to the mountain peaks
There is great concern amongst the daffodil
And the perky pine kiss each other’s cheeks
The sunshine spews its radiant ludic light
As the rapt robins take care of their young
The rivers running rapid in their ritual rite
And bees are happy for they’ve not stung
Our succulent summer brings a life anew
For we love and frolic in the forests green
Starring at soothing skies of bounteous blue
Soaking in the sun in a lover’s lusty cuisine.

My garden is dressed in lavender lace.
Fragrant flowers blooming in sweet array.
Sprays of lilacs bring a smile to my face.
Delicate charmers, swaying with such grace,
lure hummingbirds and bees with their display.
My garden is dressed in lavender lace.
Butterfly wings enfold them in embrace.
A few branches make a lovely bouquet.
Sprays of lilacs bring a smile to my face.
Planted near my porch is the perfect place,
their scent will linger for many a day.
My garden is dressed in lavender lace.
Arranged with ivy in cut crystal vase,
they brighten the room, painted soft dove grey.
Sprays of lilacs bring a smile to my face.
When fresh blooms are needed I will replace
them with new spikes. The dried become sachet.

Sprays of lilacs bring a smile to my face.
