With hands immersed in suds and water warm,
I stand before the sink, humbled vassal,
To plates and dishes, grease and grime the norm,
My task to cleanse this polychromed passel.
Each cup I cradle with a gentle pinch,
Their curves and corners, every angle blessed,
Rinse them speckless, my soapy palm a winch,
A chore completed, my service at rest.
For though this labor at face is mundane,
It's in the simple things we find our grace,
And so I wash each dish with grateful strain,
And let their gleaming surfaces erase
The chaos and the clutter of the day,
A small but satisfying task, I say.

"Marry me," the spider said to the flea.
Don't you find it cute to live on my web?
No, I will never forget your blather.
On your bedside, my brother in your deb.
You asked for a snack, left me, and be back.
Suddenly, you began weaving your neb.
Wrapped in a silk cage, promise not to age.
Until your last breath rematches the ebb.
What did you expect? Didn't you yet elect?
I'd act the same manner I did before.
You gasp, those deeds. Stay on the web with me.
to handle a minuscule bite and more.
Here lies the prob, no aim to let you sob.
because wedding you seem to be reckless.
The goal of a smooth life isn't a fool strife
In an auld silken entangle speckless.
Don't argue to love less, be deep and guess.
Your brother was so tasty, as a nap.
What have you just done? a fresh web you've spun!
She grinned as she closed the remaining gap.

I dream of a beautiful India
Where the roads are neat and clean
Where proper public toilets are built
And the fields are always green
I dream of India free from diseases
Where hygiene is maintained by all
Where people take care about proper sanitation
And realize that clean India is the nation’s call
Till when will the village women strive?
Who will listen to their voices and let them survive?
Yes, we the youth will become the nation’s guide
And we all together will fight for hygiene and sanitary rights
Those who join hands for this noble cause
To them, we all must salute
And for those insouciant people of the nation
I regret calling them as Indians
Gandhiji had said- ‘We are the country’s scavengers’
He himself removed dirt from the streets
I salute Bapu for his thoughts
For a speckless India he had fought
Bapu is our ideal
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is our goal
with Bapu’s blessings and love
All the hurdles, we can easily overcome
Our actions will be dynamic
Nobody can stop us from heading toward the peak
I am sure the rays of hope won’t fade
All problems of hygiene and sanitation will soon become abate
