Sunny summers day,
the month of July.
A tipsy hummingbird,
was trying to fly.
It had drank honey wine,
and couldn't find its timing.
That tipsy hummingbird.
Tumbled side winding.
One tipsy little bird,
such a sight to see.
crash landed badly,
plumb in front of me.
In a dithering spin,
it shook to catch wind,
promptly rolled over,
and flopped on its chin.
It did triple flips
some bicycle kicks.
This tipsy bird,
was doin the twist.
I grabbed my bandana,
to sop up the spittle.
Laughed as I cried,
big stitches in the middle.
within two quick minutes,
the whole episode was over.
Though it took another six
before I gained composure.
On a warm summer's day,
sunny month of July.
I was lucky to see,
a Tipsy Hummingbird Fly.

Come All You terrorists rally cry
Come all you haters cattle call
Come All ye religious fanatics
Come all men to the lake rivers
Let's fish go to the weary
Come to the poor go to the this place
People come young and poor
Let us go to the rebels go to the saints
Come to the harvest enjoy
Autumn grapes splash up mash up
The fruits of your labors smash up the potatoes
Pour on the gravy stop on a dime
Sop up those juices all around your plate
Eat the full blessings at the Lord's supper
Come less congregate

To feed of the holy swine, would be divine. To consume of the muscle and sinew beneath the rind. A lavish meal the Christian would be, to wipe my mouth with cloth of purity. Within fibers and marrow I find solace. Through smoke and tears I pick at heaven’s skeleton with greedy fingertips lusting for purchase. To digest the cannibal lamb would bring me closer to who I am. To find one’s self in the flesh of another is simply a lost work of greatness. Lucifer, a gracious host. Need not brag nor boast that his spread deserving of a toast, never ceasing to astound. Sin for sin, pound for pound. Salivary glands hold dominion over my ravenous urge to feast until the savory iniquities of these beasts are licked clean. Break the bread to sop up the broth of sinner, smitten alongside my “gentile” dinner. The harvest commences, satisfactory.
The herd is ripe for the slaughter

I'm not bitter, but I'm broken,
In a bad dream and can't be woken,
My breaths are shallow 'cause I'm chokin'
On the words we left unspoken.
A guilty charge, I took the blame,
I've walked around with so much shame,
To you, our promises became
As forgotten as my name.
Uninspired without my muse,
I admit my wrongs, but you refuse,
Well, what was I supposed to choose,
When either way, I'm bound to lose?
You struck me with a blunt assault,
I'm the slug, and you're the salt.
So now I'm locked up in my vault,
And left to sop up all the fault.
Is this the way you thought I'd learn?
One day you're there, the next you turn.
Your bridge ain't one I want to burn.
But we're past the point of no return.
When you see I'm not all wrong,
And try to come where you belong,
I'll be here singing this song,
And you've already took too long.
The story ends with no regret,
Best friend, soul mate, don't forget
I shed my tears, and blood and sweat,
But it's time for the moon to set.

The children...
o-h-h , such beautiful children ,
all in their starting block's to begin the race ,
alway's with joy , and a smile on their face .
simplicity is their inquisitive nature ,
" what's that " , they may ask...
you respond impatiently ,
" it's nothing , you'll understand when you get older "
" why ?? " with a tilted head , they ask again ,
" because " you say without a clear answer ,
" but , why ?? " they say with appealing eye's
'" BECAUSE " you respond , impatiently again...........
impressions....
especially to a young mind ,
working overtime trying to understand ,
their mind's like a sponge
soaking up water
and no matter how hard you squeeze
impatiently , of course...
their at the ready to sop up more....
So........before you get mad at them
and tell them that " BECAUSE "
is not an answer........
think to yourself ,
how many time's did you answer them with " BECAUSE "..........
