slightest chill in the air this eve.
prospect of pumpkins blinking;
and apple, sour and sweet, pies;
sweater hugs and hot beverages;
passes and touchdowns; falling
leaves, piled high with laughter.

And she was sleeping, like a baby
Her untied, long hair was touching her face
And there, she was lying in a deep, deep sleep.
I was not sure if she was allowed to dream
As she was pushed an injection to force the sleep
And she was lying unconscious in a deep, deep sleep
I still hope and pray for the slightest chance of a dream
That, yet her sleep can afford, all for a greater good, there.
The other day, I found a bookmark in her book, that I was reading
A dried leaf, which reminded me of those days of colors, of distant past.

the slightest thing
shouldn't set one
off into a tail spin
of emotions
one should be able
to maintain their
composure
trying is key
try and try again
till eventually self
control is gained
it's a life long learning
process for all mankind

not in
the slightest
does it
affect future
outcomes
even though
it may seem
bleak there
is always chances
for change
possibilities arise
and fall each and
every single day
all that needs to
be done is to become
aware of them and
grab them before
they have a chance to
run away again

The slightest
Of touch
On your lips
In the breeze
Don’t think back
To the good old days
For know one thing
Its me behind
Ahead and blind

The slightest touch is all it takes
To see her smile, her warm embrace
She’s fragile but just strong enough
To help me stand when times are tough
Born a son to fathers land
He too had one that held his hand
His candle in the darkest night
My heart, my soul, my ears ,my sight
When ever my dreams seem to fail
It is her love that helps prevail
And when life seems to be too much
I hunger for her slightest touch
