Slightest Chill

slightest chill in the air this eve.
prospect of pumpkins blinking;
and apple, sour and sweet, pies;
sweater hugs and hot beverages;
passes and touchdowns; falling
leaves, piled high with laughter.

'falling leaves, piled high with laughter' brings out the apple cider by the hearth in me. Love the familiar intimacy of this write, my friend. Here's to Autumn! ~ Gershon

Once upon a time, I used to cook. Broths were always handy. But since I must cook broths with stock that has no fat in it, it would always take me a long time. So now I just stopped.

Looking forward to "slightest chill in the air," we are having over 100 degrees weather until Monday next week. 104 today and tomorrow would be 108. Have a great day, Kim.

I don’t think we are over the heat either so any break is good and then finally we will have a breakthrough…then the blankets (lol)
