Skid Poems - Poems about Skid

Premium MemberAnother Black Skid

Wearing a sleet smile,
icicles starting to thaw;
Snow blindness cleared up
leaving her vulnerable
but never more beautiful;

Avoiding yet another black skid,
she quickly melted before true love.

Skid Marks

I have to rant, I dread this time
Much more than I can say
‘Cause though I cope, I hate to find

Natures Danger

Night frost,
Shining on the road,
Slippery and slick,
Clinging to plants,
Clinging to cars,
Vehicle skidding,
Shivering in the cold,
Wrap up warm,
It's so icy outside,
Breath like smoke,
Fingers freezing cold,
Gloves to keep them warm,
Sand on the roads,
Sand on the paths,
Take great care,
It's icy out there,
When the night frost hits,
In the morning light,
Danger can be seen,
Sheet ice,
Take care.

Premium MemberSkid Marks In the Sky

Like angels of death
they feared no evil
the best that ever flew.

So with wings at stake
downed aircraft thunder
across the skies of blue.

Pilots are proven mortal
when mishaps occur in flight
as falling planes, a ball of flames.

Leave skid marks in the sky..

.....Dedicated to Navy Pilots....

Mother Goose Down On Skid Row

Tom Thumb got caught peeping
Now his life is on the run
Little Bo Peep lost her sheep
On a gambling junket she was on

Little Miss Muffet is having to tuff it
Out these days in jail
Selling ecstasy to undercover police
And now can't pay her bail

Little Jack Horner took him a corner

Skid-Off

On and off so it was
Though unknown, I see
A turn to bend, too fast I crush
Wind in
Wind out
Help beckons like a dream
Too soon am out
Though unknown, I see
To them my heart is glad
Be it unto them as they did unto me
Wind in
Wind out
He watched down on me
Concern filled to relieve
So it was to skid-off
