unassuming
he sits in a corner
out of sight
out of mind
others are called
yet
he remains...
he waits patiently
longs for his name to be called
yet doesn't bug anyone
to ask when
his turn is next
I see him though
from my corner of the room
I see him sketchily through my tracking lens
making sure
nobody will leap out at me
I watch him
mr unassuming man
and realize
he is me.
Casually callow
superficial and shallow
this young media fellow.
Lordly and light
trivial and trite,he sat
filling the moment with tat.
Sketchily slight
meekly absorbing
every sound bite.
Clips so neat
in endless repeat the spin
with an endless grin.
