My Simplest Form

I am broken
that is my simplest form.
Not in shards,
but in folded faults
like paper creased too many times
it becomes soft,
almost sacred.

They called me whole
when I was quiet.
They mistook my silence
for resolution.

But silence
was just the breath I held
between scream
and surrender.

I walked the corridors of other people's love
like a thief in borrowed shoes,
returning everything
except myself.

I am the ink smeared by rain
on the envelope no one opened.
The left-behind syntax
of someone who once
meant something
to someone
but no longer fits their grammar.

I am broken
and so I echo better.
So I resonate truer.
So I bleed in rhythm
when no one watches.

This is not weakness.
It is symmetry,
rediscovered in collapse.

I am broken
and that is my simplest form.
That is how I slip into yours
without splinters.

Premium MemberTHE SIMPLEST SOLUTION

Today’s blessing comes via Bob Marley
who, like me, believed sometimes the simplest solutions
to the problems of the world are before us…in plain sight:

The moment we realize we are
One love
One heart
and we can all get together
we will finally feel all right.

Premium MemberThe Simplest Love Story

Some people say there are no simple love stories…
and plainly they have stated…
if it’s simple it must not be love
for love is complicated…

They sight example after example
and believe this with all certainty!
But there are others who look at love
and beg to disagree.

For them, love is simple..
It’s when they realize they’re no longer alone…
and when someone else’s happiness
is more important than their own…

For they know love is easy
and plainly have they stated
the best love is a simple love
and need not be complicated…

For they have known love in their lives
by love they have been blessed…
and they know when it comes to love stories
oftentimes…the simplest…are the best.

Premium MemberThe Simplest of Thank-You's

Can I thank you in passing for helping 'me'
for easing 'my way' into the Presidency

                    *******
Bush Jr. might have thanked Clinton for an economy
that produced a budget surplus, amazingly

But he focused on his own alleged decency
  deriding his predecessor's public immorality

Mr. Obama didn't thank Mr. Bush for his fight against terror
instead castigating George W. for his economic errors

And Mr Trump declined to give Mr. Obama his due
for steady job growth, a comeback in stock prices too

Now Mr. Biden touts his own 'magnificent job' on vaccinations
ignoring Mr. Trump's Operation Warp Speed, the true causation

                    *******
The elites lecture us: We have to be more civil, more polite
When the simplest of thank-you's they can't even get right

The Simplest of Pleasure

The glorious big television
The cable box, dustless as can be be
Flanked by two flamess candles
Dancing ever so cheerfully
The mahogany table on which it sits
The flickering flamelike heater, right beneath it.
A cup of fresh coffee with a dollop of cream.
Making the experience heavenly

Premium MemberThe Simplest of Equations

Make no mistake, women and men are different
but together there is a greater strength
Separated from each other-life tends to bend.
weakening wellbeing and peace of mind
There is a trend to homogenize
blend the genders into one
for the sake of P. C and equality
but equality has nothing to do with
what jewels are between the thighs.
it's a state of mind driven by love and mutual respect.
Now let's get real and be blunt,
who do you want by your side in battle
A man swinging his sword or a women packing her runt.
and who do you want to suckle the babe
a flat hairy bloke or a nurturing maid.
This doesn't mean that one is better than the other.
Each has their own precious strength.
We were made to be different
we're meant to mingle and mix
it's part of the grand plan to be different.
Diversity of gender built into the crystal spire of DNA.
Both were born with a gemstone called love in the heart
to respect and procreate is in the tablet of our rights,

Premium MemberSeasons Simplest To Know

SIMPLEST to know
Spring beauty floral flowing
The steamy summer
The autumn leaves crinkle down
untouched pristine snow fall found

Snow ball fight and flight yes,
Suppressed now tired and lazed
Snow angels there's an angle
Heaps of snow on cars
Snow plow isn't plowing now

It was time to go
Inside for hot cocoa

You Are the Simplest of the Sea

You are the seamless simplicity.
but you do not know?
See me sweetheart, heart i ask you.

Today,add life together with you.
If you say so,leave everyone to know.
You are God in life but you do not know.
See me sweetheart, heart i ask you.
You are the seamless simplicity.
See me sweetheart, heart i ask you.

Today I will add my heart to you with my heart.
If you say so,let's leave this sweet life.
Why do not you believe in the heart's heart?
See me sweetheart,heart i ask.
You are the seamless simplicity.
See me sweetheart, heart I ask you.

The Simplest of Words

I could package it different,
  I could present it complex,
—I could try to impress and deceive

But the message eternal,
  and the one truly spoken,
—needs the simplest of words to conceive

The Simplest of Things

Sometimes we overlook the simplest of things
God laid before our eyes
Like the beauty we see in all His birds
Or the majesty of the skies.

It’s the small things that surround us
That we never seem to see
Or the things that are big that we overlook
Like the tallness of a tree.

There’s a peaceful sound that calms our hearts
And it comes with falling rain
Then it speeds up as it falls real hard
As to almost cause us pain.

There’s something special we have when we’re young
And it’s there when we get real old
We have the ability to feel when it’s hot
Or to feel when it gets too cold.

These are things we never think about
But, sometimes I think we should
If we’ll take the time to stop what we’re doing
I know we surely would.

There’s a comfort we get when we realize
God is around us every day
It’s an awesome feeling to know our Lord
Is never far away.

The Simplest Things That

The simplest things that bring a smile to my face
Hearing a new born cries
Seeing a father cut his first born child umbilical cord
Seeing a butterfly breaking out of their cocoon
Seeing ants work together
Seeing a child ride his/her bike for the first time
Seeing my child graduate from Kindergarten thereafter first grade & now out of High School
Seeing an adult get baptized
Seeing a man and women get married in this day and age
All of these are beginnings of transitions that constitute for new situations to be made

The Simplest Joy

A treasure more precious
Than gems or gold,
And paid for by most
At any price,
What rejoices the heart
A hundredfold:
To see on a loved one’s
Lips a smile.

In the Simplest of Times

When does the most powerful moment of your life strike you?
It lands like a ton of bricks in the simplest of times.
It hits you not at that moment, but a moment much later.
True impact strikes so hard that it is only felt after the fact.
A calm after the storm.
The beauty can hardly be seen until after the moment's over.
Because memory often enlivens thoughts of the past.
Even the simplest of moments can later be perceived as the greatest of triumphs.
So when does the most powerful moment of your life strike you?
When you wish you had it back.

Write Me the Simplest Song

Write me the simplest song
and make your true words sound
like you were talking to me,
because it isn't easy to say
what one really feels inside;
find those words and capturate me!

Honesty is always the best part of the truth,
each feeling must find its worth...
and however silly or stupid it seems to you,
express it with the confidence of a real lover:
who's never too afraid to touch and give more
affection than she ought to!

Write me the simplest song,
when the misty rain falls on the smiling roses,
be like them and receive these tears of joy
as a promise to be loved by me...
it begins today and it won't end tomorrow;
and would you be sharing when the passion arises?

Doubt can't keep you from loving me, if others
promised you Heaven and turned out to be liars...
that isn't me; and when speaking becomes hard,
write me the simplest song with a voice that's
your own and I will listen to it with special pride:
say it with words that mean love, not hurtful lines!

The Simplest Smile

It only takes the simplest smile
to make someone yours
and don't be surprised if
everything turns out well;
sometime an unexpected smile
can start an unquenchable fire!

Don't ever impress anyone
by thinking that you are invincible,
and there are no others
sexier or more beautiful;
does someone always falls
for external beauty,instead
of what is really inside?
Does anyone stare with lustful eyes,
and suddenly fantasize...
to have found the perfect one?

It takes only the simplest smile
to attract somebody so nice,
who'll share your same ideals...
to weave amazing dreams
without a web of lies on the unfaithful mind;
can you find that one in a millions of souls?

After you start giving everything,
be sure you you don't wind up with nothing;
don't be deceived by a false appearance...
don't be impressed,if that is just a pretense!
