Posit the guile entity
The lost, enters without warning
Mostly death, but severed hearts
Also are placed within its hands
A signifier of painful art
Worshipped by the insane
But longed for by the lonely
And lost, who enter knowingly
This being bends, and breaks
The bones of the weary
And lowers the esteem
Of all those that are still lost
And which have given up hope
Those that bring in the pain as if
This is their world now
He kills the lost
Like it is nothing but sacrifices
To him and his flawless bones
He likes to play with the souls
As if they are a toy
To squeeze and to pierce
Blood escapes their pulsating hearts
The lonely believe they are supposed
To be there, and experience this pain
That the world must crumble
Just like what he does with his hands
Once within his sights
There is no escape
Pain is a mainstay, until death
Comes and take you away…

“OYE” (“HARMATTAN”)
[BY OHWOJEVWE ESE GANIYU]
When
On harmattan wings
Flapped iced
Into my oblongata cold
Into moneyless sadness
Of our Saussure’s paper
Locked in
Folic signified signifier
In language
Too much mystique in
Folic signifier signified
Till tides come
When
On glorious dawns day
We acknowledge
That those potholes
We
Wobbled our way through
In
Thorns trumpeted
Into our ears
Too congealed
To hear Bata drums
Hypnotizing us
Into spag queens hall.

Ah, transparency, do you see
A realm of understanding not
Within the bounds of sight
But within the soul of harvest
She ellipse the tragedy between
The felt moment and the real
Down to earth signifier, which
Doesn’t escape her mind like
The ways of the known versus
The unknown but completes
The ways of her wayward soul
Going from one path to another
Reaching for an arc to fathom
Before her eyes betray her dire
Warmth losing the tenderness
Of her heart, which screams at
Those that don’t reach for
Immortality, between time and
Heartache she losses touch
Of the truth of the events shown
And love is lost forever between
The pants of the truth, and real
Words of wisdom that only tries
To bring lies of her world searching
For the helpless like herself
Losing touch of space, the area
Where she denies herself the ideas
Of her meandering ritual of faith
There her eyes see the reality
Of the situation, and transparency
Seems to open her eyes to truth
And that of juxtaposition enters

The amber light of Autumn filters through
From soft and crimson sky rising prior
To kiss the umber leaves that say adieu
And share morning light with my desire
As saffron leaves die in brown attire
I will breathe the chilled Autumn air content
And know the season's change is evident
As ginger colored wings of birds subdue
And they fly south as a signifier
When pumpkin colored skies turn midnight blue
And dawns of cinnamon thread light fire
The splayed morning gray will soon expire
The chill of Autumn comes as leaves are spent
And Winter winds begin their cold ascent

Through hub after hub
Opportunities for connection
Or crossed purposes
Wire up.
Messages lose themselves
All the time
And never reach their
Intended destinations.
So why did the just wrong
Signifier happen to
Get through this time?
Exacted its way
Through the complexity
And hit its intended
Target with such
Blunt force
That it overloaded
The system and
Almost broke it…
But not quite
Because it’s resilient
In its redundancies.
(This girl never learns.)
Just a few degrees of
Distinction separate –
Almost togetherness.
It’s like we’re
Waiting – just waiting
– to be moved but
Refuse to budge.
Every millisecond of
Every moment of
Every day,
So much chance for success
And simultaneous failure...
Touchy, this situation.

Our ritual tree for transcendence doth aspire
A garnished trinket our crest will require
A fabricated mold with polished attire
A gleaming sentinel; a burnished squire
A sacral vestement on evergreen spire
With gilded insignia from divine shire
An angelic emanation descended from heavenly choir
Who heralds glad tidings on his mercantile Lire
A pure relic cleansing an organic sire
Mercurial splendor crowning an earthen pyre
O'er residual chaff rises an immortal signifier
A glorious diadem; a pious magnifier
From bequeathed penury; heart of penitent friar
Spiritual token vaunting our prayers higher
