The complications of our conversations take deep twists and turns. Why can't it be easy for you to see me like i see you always one step ahead or behind never in the right place at the right time.

18th April 1775 on the strong big-boned mare
'Brown Beauty' may have been her name
borrowed from John Larkin a very good horse
of Narragansett Pacer fame
a copper-bottomed silversmith
Son of Liberty Patriot and Boston-born
riding with Prescott and Dawes toward Lexington
then Concord minutemen in advance to warn
of the British Army's actions
was intercepted in Lincoln but doing his bit
the man had lanterns as the plan
and arranged to have a signal lit
in the Charlestown Old North Church
with one if by land two if by sea
but in those long-gone days
as it was unknown technology
right then and there
it was quite unlikely to see
three if by air
some say vestryman Pulling and sexton Newman
(not a deacon)
as the midnight rider never made it all the way
were the real heroes of the day in fact quite a beacon

If I were in automaton mode
and wrote a digital poem
with binary code
in terms of two states
expressed as 0's and 1's
(positive and non-positive)
which when done
alternate
and run
in a lengthy string
then later transmit the data
with technology
it would not read
a beautimous thing
but repetitively tedious
or boring indeed
nought but a numbers game
of dreary ennui
it would positively be

I walked past the cherry trees today,
Their petals, falling every which way.
As if it were pink snow: soft, light, and rose.
Taking in the breeze before being cast down to the shadows.
I stopped and stared, simply standing alone,
The world around me seemed to turn to stone.
It was as if someone had hit pause there,
With blossoms dancing through the air.
It made me think of all we lose,
Of precious moments gone that we didn't choose.
Like friends who fade from memory, their smiles coming to an end,
Or when you fight and can't pretend.
But even though they don't last long,
The blossoms still feel brave and strong.
They bloom, they shine, they let things go,
But they also signal the start of a new tomorrow.
A time when cold subsides and warmth arrives,
A small window where the blossom thrives.
If only its beauty could stay,
But maybe it's simply meant to show the way.

Your soul have signalled you feel better
So you could call, or message me
I check my box if there’s your letter
To realize again that sea
That lies between us, is too deep
The earth is bordered and too vast
And now of course, you need more sleep
Sleep heals from troubles, cleans the past
Sometimes your memory reminds
About me, but then again
Distraction comes, with all that binds
Yourself with things that still remain.

In the movie, the” signal”
An Astronaut receives
A signal from an alien spaceship
Heading to earth
The alien repeats the word
Hello in multiple languages
While heading to Earth.
The discovery electrifies
And terrifies the world.
All the world’s governments
Decide In secret.
To shoot down the spaceship
Before it could land
As it could be either a probe
Of the beginning of an invasion.
When they enter the ship
They find the original
Voyager data discs.
Which the aliens
Were returning to earth
As an opening gambit
To establish communication.

The magnet web beneath my feet with predefined knowledge of this purgatory. The king who is a glabrous mole says to me grab the phone it's for you. As I lunge it is in my hand placed near my ear to hear my mother's words that I love you. Tears slide below my cheek down to my chin. I then fly away saying goodbye but I cannot stay. expedient I enter the door that was meant to be locked. I then egress the mouth of a croc. I now surround myself in a land of paper and puppets made of socks and I say hello to Mother as she waits with a missing mouth standing at the docks.

He awoke one day stoic and changed
his legs somehow were rearranged
yes, he felt he had been shortchanged
legs of steel that ran fast
so when they kidnapped his girlfriend
his legs were a means to an end
the Aliens then, were godsend
although, he felt like an outcast
part human part Alien young gun
came from area fifty one
he did escape but could not shun
signals from Alien mast

Like you, I am too clear to be seen.
Blink back if you see me.
Just maybe
I live in that star named Sol,
live as a bright beam
that you project.
Maybe you see me
from your dark planet?
Flicker in that darkness
if you understand.
You are that light beam.
Smile if you realize this.
“Joyful are the ones
that are a light unto themselves.”
Twitch an eyebrow
if you can hear.
That blue and green earth
has no light of its own
only souls make light.
Signal me
with your angelical
laughter lines
if you know this.
This sun
that I look from
will die,
but not you.
Nod if you are awake and
aware.

when he watched the game
from heaven being neutral
never taking sides
when we will have it
tired of putting up with
bunch of malarkey
had run out of bounds
which is where he was trampled
one more foolish act
do at my signal
should set clock back again
following the rules
here we go again
what we heard had been absurd
thought that we were fools
we had to google
subject to find out answer
that would cause the crime
rides in Disney World
would eventually closed down
they descriminate
they would pull a prank
when we issued them a tank
have police to thank

Tech support informed us
There is nothing they can do
For the signal sent by Sirius
Won’t work with Subaru.
Not all cars have been affected,
Just the Foresters (of course!)
And the techies have been working
Hard to find the problem’s source.
We were told it’s like amnesia,
So the radio forgets
How to access all the stations
And the tech guy had regrets
But he couldn’t fix the issue;
Ours will stay an open case
And they wonder why technology
We old folks don’t embrace!

Marriage wears no ambiguous hat,
If signals no clear green nor red get,
But perplexing amber,
Raw stays wedlock’s timber,
Remember, you can’t write, rub, say ‘stet’!

(a meditative ballad)
a signal shown
in silence sown
Searching like strangers in the night
they met each other, a look, a smile.
Angels in the dark, with no guile,
their inner voice directs the light.
They met each other, a look, a smile
He preached the Word with godly might
without reply, no fear, no flight
angels in the dark, with no guile.
A signal shown
they met each other, a look, a smile
She watered seeds, then spoke aright,
angels in the dark, with no guile
in silence sown.
In silence sown
a signal shown
