She resisted my kiss in the light,
I still felt that a kiss would be right.
But was caught unaware,
By her boyfriend, Joe Bear...
Now, I'm kissing the sidewalk goodnight!
The moral of this story...
Don't kiss another man's lips...
Not without his permission, at least!
Mugs,
Aoathy feeds them drugs,
Shrugs.

gorilla studies me
I study him
he smirks
so I do too
a mind melding
do we speak the same language?
no
but we speak the same shrugs and grunts
The fish swam around
curious what he found
A brand-new ranch house
floating in Puget Sound
Nothing for him there
so he just shrugged
Unlike the poor humans
their home waterlogged
Autumn shrugs off summer
like Alzheimer's shrugs off
wit, slowly and methodically;
purposeful and nonchalant.
This dire deterioration
welcomes dank darkness,
chilling and finite,
long-winded and overbreathed.
October winds shake and stir
the very foundations of our
civilizations, and rock the
metaphorical boat of blissful
nesciance; eventually capsizing
the bleeding vessel, until its
veins run dry with
suffocation.
