Autumn Shrugs

Autumn shrugs off summer like Alzheimer's shrugs off wit, slowly and methodically; purposeful and nonchalant. This dire deterioration welcomes dank darkness, chilling and finite, long-winded and overbreathed. October winds shake and stir the very foundations of our civilizations, and rock the metaphorical boat of blissful nesciance; eventually capsizing the bleeding vessel, until its veins run dry with suffocation.
