My heart is breaking in pieces
And being ripped out of me
This heartache is for the ones
I broke without showing mercy
Living this life without you
The pain is all that I can take
And what makes it even worse
Is that I caused this heartbreak
If I were able to go back in time
And alter all that I did wrong
You be here in my arms tonight
Which is right were you belong
But I can't go back in time
And resolve the things I did
I'm stuck in reality with regret
With a heartache I cannot rid

MERCY
Showing mercy
to those who wrong us
is God’s will. As He has forgiven us,
we are to forgive others. But too often we attach
stipulations such as an apology or some sort of restitution.
But this shouldn’t be because Christ died for us while we were yet sinners.

She was flexible, accepting a variety of lifestyles and ways of living
This helped her find her spot in the world among interesting varieties
She was ostracized and belittled by some absolutists
“"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." her mother said.
A reminder to be herself and do what she thought was right.
So, she forgave the ones who had bullied her and put her down.
Two of them met her at the pearly gates upon their deaths.
It is your decision, the angel told her. Shall they have mercy?
Mercy for everyone, she replied, ushering them in ahead of her.

Forgiveness, The Road Less Traveled
By: Miracle man
2/28/2020
In each life, painful things are bound to occur,
and fires of revenge, from our thoughts, oft emerge.
Our lives aren't always found as we would prefer,
and absence of forgiveness becomes our scourge.
God's will is we forgive those doing us wrong,
showing mercy without placing condition.
Failing to forgive, misery we prolong,
placing ourselves in the other's position.
Ephesians 2:1-3
1 And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

His mercy given for one so insignificant,
a sinner small, you Lord the magnificent.
Showing mercy each and every day
for mistakes I’ve made along life’s way.
I the offender, not seeing your word clearly,
you the divine, still loving me so dearly.
Looking over my sins, my faults and fears,
you dear Lord, your love is so sincere.
Your blessings placed on this meager sinner,
thank God your mercy ever lingers.
Brings me to my knees in awe of you,
for your love and mercy see me through.
Your compassion, your forgiving attitude,
Lord, I give you all my unworthy gratitude.
You see through my worldly façade,
to bestow on me the merciful grace of God.

A tiny grudge can
grow into rage and make one
very merciless.
To feel peace inside:
one must allow forgiveness
replace unkindness.
Turn around and shake
the hand of your enemy,
undo the vile act.
Who is loved by God:
the hater or forgiver?
Be that one and love.
Selfishness is an
unholy act, but showing
mercy is kindness.

Mercy is shown to those who mercy shows Matt 5:7
Judging and condemning is so easy,
to show mercy is much harder
Evil deeds abound today,
criminals are much smarter.
Vengeance feels really good,
it is often said.
But...
How good can it feel,
when it's your mercy that's dead?
Showing mercy to others feels good
even if we feel they don't deserve it
We know we're doing what is right
letting resentment go is worth it.
Because...
In the end it's resentment
that kills you... eventually
So why not try this divine quality
and live your life mercifully.

Pity Me!
Should we pity those who feel no pity?
Those who’ve become so disturbed, that they have become bloodthirsty
Can it truly be the only way one should feel alive,
That one quick slip and one will surely die?
They have lost the ability for compassion
Their inner anguish seems everlasting
Incapable of showing mercy,
The only way that they become free
Is through death; Pity me! Humanity! Pity Me!
Because I fear that it is only through your pity; that I have anything left!

I wish i had a wicked heart
I am fed up of being cheated
I am sick of being played
Helping you and paying me back with evil...
I am done with it.
I wanna put a stop to being taken advantage on
I wanna be stone hearted to all that come my way.
I wanna be asked a penny and offer no dime.
I wanna turn down every little request.
I wanna say "no, i don't have" and stick to it
I wanna spend all my money all on myself without giving
I am done being their scape goat.
I wanna treat every little issue in a big way openly
I wanna be strong enough to watch people beg without showing mercy.
HMMN...
As much as i try and wish for all this,
The more calm i get ...
The more i give out ...
The more gentle and meek in attitude i become ...
JUST THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I WISHED FOR ...!

In the middle of the night
Awaken by a crackling sound
Parents jump hit the ground
Get out, get out shouted with might
Children scattered every way
Eight boys, three girls were saved that day
The parents with their two brothers
Hoovered close to the others
The oldest son grabbed a table
With kerosene lamp, as he ran
Down the steps with a bounce
Followed by all the kids
God had mercy yes he did
Soon the word got spread
To all the neighboring folks in towns
Love unbounding poured around
Wagons loaded with what people
Could spare, everyone giving a share
Slowly came into view, showing mercy
Not just a few
That was the day my daddy said
His dad broke down
And his heart bleed
He was touched by God's love
That was spread abroad
In God's people one and all
(This on insident that my father told of his childhood. He said that it was the only time that
he saw his father cry. His father was a very stern man and he had to be somewhat to be
able to make it because he lived by renting a farm from someone and farming to make
money to pay the rent. It was just another form of sharecropping. He had to be tough to
make it.)
