Premium Member A Cold Sweat

Frightened by a sudden scream,
a chill runs up my spine
and morphs into a quivering shudder
that makes my skin crawl.

As a cold sweat breaks out,
the short hairs on the back of my neck rise,
and I slip into a panic mood,
desperately trying to rationalize this.

Fight or flight leaves me paralyzed;
I can't move a muscle.

And then I hear that terrorizing scream again,
and I frantically begin to run,
fueled by the adrenaline of fear.

I never learned what caused that scream,
but I’m glad I didn’t stick around to find out.

Premium Member Imagine Me Naked

If I overwhelm you, imagine me naked,
For that's how I treat you and find it quite nice!
Empty hand, naked body, what is there to threaten?
When speaking to strangers, it's quite sound advice.

I smile at your short hairs (but hope you can't see mine)
Admire too, the curves you may dream that you hide,
I've got actual 'fingerprint,' lasting forever,
Though presence is absent, I know you, inside!

To see you 'buck naked' takes us home to Eden,
'Acceptance of Grace' is our pardon from sin,
Naked thoughts so transparent, we all live in freedom,
(Who walks with the Father will know peace within.)

Hair Trees

Head is like a piece of land,

Long and short hairs, bushes and trees,

Black hairs,dark and deep,

White,light and leap,

No hairs,bald like Sahara keep!

Mr. Fly

Have you ever seen a fly?
I'm sure you have before,
A fly can come in through a crack,
Or come in through the door.

Let us take a look at fly,
See him buzz his wings,
He flies too fast for me to see,
O listen how he sings!

Mr. fly has three pairs of shoes,
Made of fine, fine hairs,
These shoes grow on his feet,
These shoes he always wears.

He has two big eyes set on his face,
And some black and short hairs,
He has two wings with tiny veins,
And for rotton meat he cares.

His little tongue goes in in out,
As he eats his rotton meat,
Not only with his tongue he tastes,
But also with his feet!

Little fly, keep watch for men,
And watch for spiders too,
Or you might get eaten or killed,
And then what could you do?
