Blink
A year is gone
Cough
Your toddler is getting married
Yawn
You are in a nursing home
Yes
It is that fast.
with curtains drawn i bathe in dawn's sunlight,
r e l i n q u i s h i n g yesterday
with an audible yawn.
Yawn sigh, scratch your crotch
Yawn sigh, catch your breath.
Yawn sigh, me looking on,
Yawn, sigh,
how soon youth is gone.
slowly sun rises
in one glorious stretch and
one huge lazy yawn

Pissed me off
Made me scratch my head
then laugh
Caused me to cry
and say "WOW!"
Gave me a yawn
and fall asleep
With a smile
What's there scarier than death?
Whispered John with a full yawn,
Glanced over at sleeping Tess,
Moved away an inch - well done!
Don't make me yawn
Just pick
One color
It doesn't much matter anyway
What color
You pick
Any will do, aside from the original
Here comes the snow
(Sob)... There goes my lawn
Yogi the Bear's peeked out his cave
Stretched ~ and yawned a big yawn
The man was lazy as sin
To sorry to pick up a pen
As he slept and yawn
Like he lived in a barn
Not knowing his life had grown thin
Never been to Norway
nor to Finland or Sweden
After all, my wife Eve and I
left the Garden of Eden
Spring opened her eyes
and with a yawn rose the Sun,
Warmly breathing life
the world awakens once more;
Caught in the glow of her smile
Zen loving chimes,
Our exquisite times,
Spring chickens reborn,
"Still awake?" We yawn.
Basically harmless, you see,
Dreams are fantasy.
The Moon yawns, I feel queasy
I yawn, Moon laughs yellow cheese
Ne'er Sun mocks at distraught me,
Just says 'you again'?
drowsy polar bears
yawn in glacial snow-rimmed den…

How many syllables verified
They run on and on
telling me nothing at all
"this", "that"-- wrong, wrong
"hey do you like.." *yawn* yawn*
"What about..." Be gone, Be gone!
this poem is so dull that it can only be
a yawn
will you please feel the gap between
real life and poetry?
thanks
now
let's open some books
Ah
Darling
Desired so
Desperately
Draw deep drowsy yawn
Drown me with tears
Drape me dry
Dear spring
Ah

No rambling is their best regard
Not boring to excess
Not saying ten words when three will do
Long writes do make me yawn-oh!

birds sing
on wing
big yawn
at dawn
sun's out
no doubt
sunrise
rubs eyes
gets up
makes cup...
of tea,
felt free!
Friedrich Stowasser was Austrian born
some find is art a bit of a yawn
Hundertwasser moniker was his first choice
labyrinthine*his lyrical artistic voice
A sunbather out on the lawn
Garnered staring but never a yawn
For one glance at her back
Showed a thong sitting smack
On the very exposed crack of Dawn.
The Preacher preached on and on
His sermon was boring and long
He stood in repose
With his eyes tightly closed
Without realizing his congregation had gone
lady bugs giggle
November's white flowers yawn
Doves coo in the mist

as quiet as they
are during the day
they silently yawn
tucking themselves
under colorful covers
dreaming
of days when
hummingbird
wings cease
to beat
Form:
Scrapped myself across
obsidian finger tipped
tree tops
as the blistered red yawn
drags upon saliva skies
skin and bone
hanging empty doll
prone to be alone
