Yawn
Yawn
7-28-2016
I awoke this morning to a rumble of thunder,
And soon, begins rain, on my Friday to mow.
Squeezing an extra day appears to be my blunder,
This day will slip by leaving nothing to show.
While expecting to bathe in the morning sun,
And mow all day in the sweltering heat.
My intentions changed before my day begun,
That’s why plans are never set in concrete.
