Men are attracted
To all that jiggles
But ladies prefer
Something that wriggles
So critics extolled
Exquisite squiggles
And God collapsed
In a fit of giggles!

ears wiggle
fingers waggle
girls giggle
customers haggle
curlicues squiggle
snail-pack straggles
belly-fat wriggles ~
survivors bedraggled

A hair crawls into yr life like a
snake, it wriggles in front, maddening
Grab it! And now it sticks! Let go!
Sweaty palm ruboff float
down to the checkered concrete floor
gone and forgotten.

In the place of the rising sun
Where fasts break on sushi
And the sumo's size a delight
The earth wriggles – wets our kimonos
Took stuffs up to origami
And dampens muses for haiku
As the sunrise
We are in Nippon
Together!

Lyric
A mucky puddle
still holds the reflected night.
Two maundering starlings
peck at the dark pool
as if fishing.
One worm wriggles up,
the birds don't seem inclined
to eat it
one bubble in the puddle
surfaces -
I sense a kraken.

Spider soup, come take a taste.
She tickles and wriggles,
and adds fluff to your face.
Mosquito mousse.
Dive in, but beware.
She will sting you,
Without a thought or a care.
Grasshopper gravy.
The legs are easily seen.
My first day of cooking.
It is pretty keen.

Light Verse
A joyful grandfather I have
he tells tales, sagas, epics
sings song of youth and dances
in joyful rhythm he wriggles
he wishes to rewind backward
the traditional clock
but it is mission impossible
days kiss him bye and bye
every day every moment
is a bye gone matter
unrecoverable

Rain-steps publish worms,
wriggles scribe themselves.
The thrown thud of a newspaper
punctuates the wet and written.
Sparrows scrawl and scrabble,
foraging starlings attack the earth
sounds squirm up,
muddy scripts are picked at, edited
a door slams,
the ground rewrites itself.

ODE TO KLONOPIN
CALMNESS
RUSHES THROUGH ME
SERENITY FLOWS
REACHING
FEELING ITS WAY
INTO MY BONES
FINTERTIPS
TINGLE
PERMA SMILE
CHESHIRE CAT
WITH BEDROOM EYES
SERENITY GLOWS
IN MY VEINS
WRIGGLES AMD TICKLES
ITS WAY
TO THE HEART OF ME
SLIDES DOWN
INTO THE DEPTHS
I'M WARM AND FREE.

A
house
lizard’s
detached
tail
wriggles.
Flavor
of
parting
is
pain.
To
sacrifice
a part
to
save
the
rest
is
sagacity.
A
soul
needs
neither
fair
nor
the
whole
body.
The
tail’s
pizzazz
and
warmth
vanish
in
stillness.
Even
a
piece
of
flesh
is
stinky
without
soul.

The sky cries softly into the sea
Muslin mist offers comfort to the waves
Tide ebbs and sways like a returning lover
The sun playfully dips its chin
to ease its unquenched heat
and insect sand wriggles between naked feet
The skipping stone with lessing effort kisses
liquid mirror
The land and water gentle and eternal
hold hands in hope
but always soon must part

Sigh I high, a busy, burning furnace,
scrolling lines with aching, grieving woes;
she, a charmed worm, wriggles, snorts,
while floating on a fluffy, velvety cloud.

From tumultuous discussions within
images strive for life as a new-born
child wriggles from the womb.First
an outline,then in silhouette,each
unique line,a perceptible signature,so
individual and more personal than
a diary.This spontaneity impetuously
releases the extrovert upon this page,
squeezed out as rain in an arid world.
Artistic inspiration writes itself, as
I merely provide the pen

My grandson’s discovered Houdini;
He loves to get trapped and escape.
His grandpa knows just how to trap him
‘Til he wriggles free with not a scrape.
I wonder if Harry Houdini
Had a grandpa who’d tickle and tease,
Causing giggles and shouts of enjoyment
With every snuggle and squeeze.
If he did, maybe we’d not have heard of
The most famous escapist of all
For the fun’s being trapped, not escaping,
If you have a fun grandpa on call!

I like hamburgs and hotdogs.
I even like a brat.
At cookouts it don't matter...
Just cook up what you've got.
I don't mind getting dirty.
My shoes won't stay on long.
Don't let me see you cover your ears
while I sing my favorite song.
I like to fish with live bait.
I just prefer the worms.
You'll never hear me hollar
when it wriggles and it squirms.
I'm just a natural lady.
I live with mother earth.
My family says I'm normal...
for what their opinion's worth!
