A Detached Tail

A house lizard’s detached tail wriggles. Flavor of parting is pain. To sacrifice a part to save the rest is sagacity. A soul needs neither fair nor the whole body. The tail’s pizzazz and warmth vanish in stillness. Even a piece of flesh is stinky without soul.
