Deja Asked

You're mad, I'm insane
Playing the déjà asked game
You pretend it's new
Dodging the truth word for word
I can't tell until it's heard

Narrative Which Is Imperative

Narrative Which Is Imperative

This has become  a renown narrative;
In each sermon it became imperative;
Word for word,
Often have heard;
To love and live must give, give, give.

Trump Did Declare An Edict

Trump Did Declare An Edict

We had heard Trump did declare an edict;
While reading word for word would depict,
Must confess,
A mass mess;
Each lie exposing the other will contradict.

Eyeful

eyeful afterthought
all wasted up
catch a glimpse of the bird's eye view
power of speech grant an audience
hidden message
moments of panic
in person short sighted
tongue-tied word for word
humanity is thus lost

A Record of a Secret Document

A record of a secret document
Embedded in my memory
Threatening to open
My feelings to the world
And I will keep it clandestine
Waiting for you to furiously
Copy down, word for word
The essence of my emotions

WORDS TELL, FEELING

Word for word
Is truth heard?
Can you see
Feel that frees?

Rhyme seeds sound
That now grounds
Quest of heart
Starts verse art

Dare do as you say
Upon this highway
Joy and sorrow play
Where plot and cast sway

As fond feelings merge
Word for word flings urge
In a deeper purge
As odd echoes surge

Premium Member I Don'T Care Who They'Re Screwin' In Private

I do care who they're screwin' in public
~~~~~~~~ this poem is word for word plagiarized. If you know who I plagiarized, you probably have a good feel for freaky people and the aliveness of the streets. If you don't, you can ask me or whatever.
Hand Over Heart
Hand over heart, when our National Athem starts,
taught from a child, and we sang every part.
Word for word as the flag was raised,
remembering the sacrifice our soldiers have made.
Patriotic to the core, our Red, White, and Blue,
Americans be proud, stand , and salute.
A Million Words
Word for word
I hold my tongue
What I’ve been
Trying to say
Has gotten stuck
Underneath my
Rib cage
My heart
Pounding on it
Tapping on it
As my blood
Rushes around
It
I’m afraid if
I let this out
My body
Will retaliate
Word for word
I’ll just write it
Down
SILHOUETTE (18/23) — PACE
Word for word
Lines hoard meaning;
Not much said
~~~~~

Here I wait
For joy to bait
My journey fate
As glimpse tells more
Than words galore

Here I write
As my soul cites
Fond zest in bites
Where truth gives light
To do what’s right

Premium Member Wyrd Talking

Sometimes
I think
they talk to themselves
through us
not exactly word-for-word
though the sense of it
then I (re)member
they are we, or was, us, at sometime

then we remember again
they don't make plain sense
playing wyrd-for-wyrd in-stead
sew halves, two find
grain-by-grain
frisson of recognition
in (an)other

Just be
Gladly

Now walk

Premium Member Jameson Whiskey

The Jameson distillery
had its first official tour in 1780
when pirates broke in and drank all the whiskey.

Can I really call the above work my own?
It's almost word for word for an ad that I saw,
but I don't think the ad was intended to be a poem.

Treasure

Heart to hand
Hand to pen
Pen to paper
Start again

Thoughts unwind
Secrets unfold
Words blossom into
Stories told.

A gentle seed
Sprouting small
Branches lead
To trees so tall.

Word for word
Scrawling lines
Sentences that
Creep through time.

Of past, of present,
Or those of
Mysteries
'Bout what's to come.

Pointless poems
To stricter measure
Writing is
Man's greatest treasure.

Words like wild cards
Bubbly bright bard

Words in fresh scripts
Ideas now rip

Jumpy jerks bounce
Watch how words pounce

Craft a fat chance
Drill that dream dance

Word for word frame
Niche no sense name

Fruits of deep thought
Poke a sweet spot

Lift laughter loud
Poise priming proud

Choice clusters poise
Love sizzles voice

Late evening stupor
Seize a bitter flavour

Write my odd verse awake
Cite words for goodness sake

Sleepy eyes glimpse new lines
Loiter with teary brine

Espresso cuppa reach
Coffee ideas now teach

How can feeling fine grow
Feelings I ought to know?

Caffeine fix fronts fancy
Picky patchy squarely

Dream within a bad dream
Word for word flickers stream

The Word of a Poet...

A poet word for word
this constant distraction...

lifes beautiful enhancement...

the emotional live or die
by the sword...

a poet for this word
serious...morbid...love
and laughter...

affliction...the ever mood
the dimensions...spectrums
these emotions centred from
above...

like exploding reproductive
organs...

all truths underlined...the deliverer
of a message...mood filtration
with true feeling without lies...

Feel strange maze
In mad craze

Feel sense brief
In deep grief

From old hurts

Yet stare deep
Beyond sleep

Feel brisk rhymes
Sculpt good times

Words Lost Expressions

Word for word is said
Looks are the meaning
Dictionaries are not expression
They define without meaning
A letter is absent of thought
Only words on parchment
Without meaning there is
Confusion with no harmony
Only the guessing is left
Hurt becomes anger and
Love is lost without
The true meaning
A letter express your thoughts
Interpreted without true
Meaning
Example: Poetry
Some are in harmony with
Your thoughts
Others get it wrong
