I read that tale when I was eight
And I've wondered ever since
Just how many frogs must I kiss
Before I find my prince?
How did he ever live before her?…he wondered
and then
with his second thought
he realized the answer…
before her…
he did not.
To the mirror I gaily spoke,
My, you are one handsome bloke.
Yet ever since you were a lad,
I've wondered if you were mad.

Why The Elephant's Ass
Is Bigger Than The Donkey's
Which Is All Jack-Ass.

The Count of Monte Cristo -
I met him in a fine French bistro.
I wondered - could I believe the tale
of this man who once set sail.
Mega Hex was a water witch
Who spent her days digging a ditch
We wondered why
The well went dry
But her critics all found their niche
Lamb left a litter,
Behind blobbing bumps.
Water went wetter,
Next to a naughty nest,
Where waves have wondered,
How heaves haunt...
Pearly and piercing, innocent and intact
And I wondered in fact:
How does one have eyes like that?
Till I told myself, "She robbed the cat"
Once a tiger ate a clown,
then wondered from town to town.
in her lace frock frilly,
she acted so silly,
and never once wore a frown.
An introspection
wondered, I listen to that tune.
It sounds as lovely as it could be.
Where Life hangs on balance
Only stayed
ME
and
SHE
I wondered
I wanted
I could not find
I fell victim to a blindness
rare, falling out of the sky
like a sparrow
flapping on the lawn.
Which Witch Would Switch?
we wondered which witch
while she was using her switch
party she would switch
James Humerious Horacious Horn
I wondered when you'd return.
How could you just leave me behind?
I thought you loved me.

Limericks I posted on Soup
"Stunk like an old chicken coop"
Critics asked for more
I wondered what for
But now you have the latest poop . . . . .
I gasped aloud at my reflection
When I glanced in the mirror a minute
I wondered about a crack that appeared
Was it the shout or image that did it?
"Will I grow to be much fatter?"
I wondered as I stirred the batter,
"and, if I do, what would it matter?",
as the pancakes, they grew flatter.
It seems our phone was on the blink
With a plumber under the sink
It seems the drip
Splashed on her slip
So she wondered what I might think . . . .
A young scientist from Madrid,
Suddenly fell off the grid,
Developing a new vanishing cream
With powers extreme,
Everyone wondered where he had hid.
My wife always says I’m the best
A feeling which brought me much zest
One night wild thoughts flew
In search of a clue
I wondered just who were the rest
Gangsta cat was a trigger ready guy
He would do whatever to make men cry
When they reached him they gave a sigh
Wondered if it would be the day they’d die
watching the trees gently swaying
in the soft spring breeze,
she wondered if she could fly,
she went to the top of the house
and jumped.
NO,
she cannot.

TAILS
Under new moon,
Empowered fox
Devoured cow,
Wondered how,
Chewed hen,
Booed men,
Jumped on box,
Under new moon:
Werefox.

I once had a ghost who came by
It didn't just stop to say "Hi!"
It said "Give me a treat"
From under it's sheet
But I wondered . . . was it a girl or a guy?
In '45, America dropped the bomb
Wondered when that might come
around -- to haunt us, who got scot-free away
~ Perhaps now is when the U.S. pays
She wondered what would happen ~
Winter upon us and war still raging...
Would life ever be normal?
